FRIDAY Dua Lipa | Megan Thee Stallion | My Morning Jacket
SATURDAY Kendrick Lamar | Paramore | Run the Jewels
SUNDAY David Gilmour | HAIM | RÜFÜS DU SOL
This is dope! But I’d prefer Roger Waters. Which we’ll likely never get.
I generally prefer Roger as well, and he's honestly probably more likely than Gilmour, but I've seen him a couple times and haven't seen Gilmour. I'd be absolutely hyped for either. It's definitely a little surprising to me that Roo hasn't been able to book either of them yet. I'd even take Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets as a consolation

Guys I love the energy but these feel like the old Superfly budgets but with 2022 names.
You think Stevie Nicks is cheap?
I would never call Stevie cheap even if it were true. But she is way smaller than Dua Lipa and Kendrick and if you're throwing Gilmour (who is done with touring) on top of that, it's a lot.

I hope the ship hasn't sailed for a Lana booking. Seeing her at Roo would be a dream come true for me and likely be a favorite set of all time.
Idek who else I'm hoping for. Still really love Doja and Billie's albums from last year, I could see either of them headlining. The Cure is at the top of my headliner wishlist annually but certainly not holding my breath for them. I'd love a lot of the other names floated around today too!!
My dreams for 2023 are Kendrick, Frank, or Roger Waters.
Same, although that’s been the case for me most years. I’ll throw The Rolling Stones in there too because idk if I’ll be able to afford to see them outside of a festival before they’re gone

I want Lana bad. I'm so sad I didn't get to see her tour NFR

I want my favorite singer Alanis Morissette so good and I think she’s pretty good at least and I haven’t heard of her since the nineties when I was a teenager.

Re: the Waters talk
Pretty sure this is gonna be his last tour this year and his announcement for it specifically said “no outdoor shows”. I feel like Desert Trip and the Mexico shows were special circumstances and that he wouldn’t make a whole new setup for Bonnaroo anyway unless he was doing a few festivals and I don’t see that happening either.
When was the last non Desert Trip fest he played anyway? Coachella?

WHAT
I said I want my favorite singer Alanis Morissette.
I feel like there's a real chance we start seeing Glass Animals headline major fests within the next couple years. Maybe one more big hit or one more album that does well. They're super popular right now, and Heat Waves is currently at #2 on the hot 100, 60 weeks after release. Would be the longest climb to #1 in history if they get there.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

yeah theres no question about it. They have more monthly listeners on spotify than any other act at boston calling including Metallica and Foo Fighters
