“i’m glad you grabbed me right there because if i would’ve lost everyone i would’ve just walked back to camp. i’m way too fucking drunk to find anyone right now.” - Teddy Flair around 1am Friday morning approximately 15 seconds after i dragged him along to go closer to Gryffin with the group
lmao if you had told me Thursday morning I would've been in a wall of death during Andy Frasco I would've said "lol there's no way I'm going to Andy Frasco" shout-out Jake Jortles' brother for dragging me there

It was totally worth the wait to see everyone, I've had an amazing time. Might need about a year to recover from this.
That’s kind of what changed my mind. I figured I was pretty done with the headaches of Roo, but between hanging out with 25 of our festival peeps, seeing everyone I already knew from here and then meeting like 12 more people, I’m probably going back unless I despise the lineup. Great partying with everyone and being able to show up for random drive-by bust ups. Haha. I would shout out everyone, but I will forget at least 10 people. So I’m not doing it other than to say how great it was seeing everyone including special guest star appearances by Tristan Rummy, Mad Dog and even fucking snowman. I was so happy to get that text from you and say what’s up again. A cool Inforoo aside for me was meeting and talking to Superfurryanimal for about an hour once I got back to brunch. Also zac and I got a couple sets in together w/Femi Kuti and Puscifer. I told him I had seen both Puscifer tours, but the Lucha Libra and Trans Vaginal Airways were both starkly different. Although I listened to the album when it came out, I never dig deep into the story and had no idea what actually happens or what they were acting out in the story outside of the search for extraterrestrials. I’ll figure it out eventually. We both were getting down and jamming to it but I don’t think either of us had a clue of what we were actually seeing.
We are past Birmingham so maybe 4 hours to go. I did my 3, and it’s nap time in the car. Plenty more later.
Here's the full Tobe Nwigwe set, if anyone's interested. Took me by complete suprise and was my favorite set I watched on stream. Definitely validated his high billing.
This was not on my radar at all this weekend, but wow he sounds great. New fan here
I had never listened to him. When the lineup dropped, I thought, “Who is this and why is he billed so high?” But his set had me all in within seconds.

i'm from indiana and learned about this from the handful of facebook posts from people in my area talking about how they're still going to call them the dixie chicks even though they paid money to go to their concert and the chicks been openly political for like 20 years and were infamously blacklisted because of that

And we found your grinder!!! Savior of the camp with that tool. Thanks again. Assuming you left it? But if not someone may have it if you'd like it back
Fantastic chill weekend, with the best neighbors at camp I've ever had. Stevie was a perfect end to the fest, what an insane three weekend run. Ready to go comatose now
