4 or 5 songs in and I still have no idea if Puscifer is good or not
When they played Bonnaroo ten years ago they were dressed like the crew of a commercial airline flight and threw bags of Puscifer brand peanuts into the crowd

Top 10 artists: 1. Tool 2. Billy Strings (will absolutely kill his set!) 3. Robert Plant and Allison Krauss 4. Porter Robinson 5. Said The Sky 6. Stevie Nicks 7. Herbie Hacock 8. CHVRCHES 9. Sierra Ferrell 10. Whiskey Myers
About another 10 that I would love to see so overall a great lineup!
flume could def be a meetup. have you checked out Weval yet? do you enjoy acts like LP Giobbi and Nora en Pure and Chris Lake?
Just saw Giobbi at Hula and she was absolutely phenomenal. So much energy and she was mixing and playing some keys live. I can't wait to see her again on the farm!
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Working on a playlist now, the friends I usually go with are into this so I'm gonna try to give it more of a chance. I'm excited to get into these electronic names that I don't know since that seems to be a highlight.
i’m currently driving back to school so can’t elaborate much, but here’s a quick off-the-dome top 5.
Billy MF Strings, King Gizz, Moore Kismet, Flume, J. Cole
i have pretty hefty lists for each day though, so i am all over the place with what i like
ok!

have not checked out Weval yet, but i’ve seen the talks about them so that’s on my list.
i was super pumped about the LP Giobbi sunrise set so fingers crossed that happens again; don’t know much Nora en Pure but liked what i’ve heard, and i’ve been wanting to see Chris Lake for a bit as well! almost travelled to Tuscaloosa in October to see him at my friends fraternity, but Ole Miss had a home game that day lol
i think we’ll have plenty of overlap to set up a meet up!

Just watched some footage of MGK from his 2021 tour. Based on social media's reaction you'd think he has zero fans but this man is selling out small stadiums. I'm pumped
Thurs: Blue DeTiger > TWS > Indigo > VNSSA > CloZee/Nothing > Weval > Sons of Kemet
Fri: Maggie Rose > ? > Lord Huron perhaps unless Noga Erez is something I should check out > Plant & Krauss / Arlo Parks > The Chicks (I do like Jbrekky but I wanna sing drunkenly with Cookin' Mama to their 1998-2002 hits on What Field) > Goose > why is J Cole 11p-12:30a unopposed, I resent this > DISCLOSURE but mad to miss Denzel > LP Giobbi
Sat: Cory henry > Tobe nwigwe > Benee? > CHVRCHES> dinner and check out $$ i guess > slowthai > Flume > BTSM > Tool > Porter or chris > Gecs or Nora > Rebillet
Sun: ? > ? > Bas > Tierra > Herbie > ATW/Rezz > Stevie
Absolutely brutal Sunday but fun looking Thurs-Sat.

This one seems a little more zoomer geared at first glance to me. It's not up to par with '20 or '21 but damn, it's not like they got some Oasis cover band to play Wonderwall 1000x. 🙄
I kinda agree with this although there arent any acts that id think *only* would be for 18-24 y/o's in the crowd. Im expecting Porter, MGK, Flume, 21, and Roddy to have the youngest crowds but none of those are acts that only pertain to zoomers. My uncle whos a deatmetal fan loves Savage Mode by 21 lol.
If it were Travis instead of J Cole tho this would be a different conversation and Id be a little bit worried about how my cohort would behave

Thank you!!!! I loved your playlist from 2020/2021 was hoping you’d do another one.

I'll post it when I'm finished Might not be til tomorrow though!
Having had some time to process the lineup, I'm pretty bummed about it. Being a snarkyboi was fun during scoop season but I really am having a tough time getting excited about this. Saturday is just so...not it for me. Maybe I'll feel different after doing some digging, but I might need some convincing this year.

Just did my top 10 in the Top 10 thread and it looks pretty good, kinda got me rethinking my decision to skip this year….. if flights get ridiculously cheap I might have to say fuck it. What the cheapest way to attend in y’all’s experience? I would be flying from LA fyi.

Camping has to be the cheapest except you would have to get transportation from Nashville International via a shuttle or rent a car and drive in depending on what you needed. I’d probably go that route because I’d want an ice chest and a place to lock my shit up.

I can think of at least 100 reasons to be excited for Saturday, but fair warning: most of them are gecs

I also leave from LAX. Southwest so you can pack all your camping gear. Also really flexible with cancellation, or if you're not bringing much watch hopper. Rent a car early, but not airport pickup - Donelson Pike ends up being way less and isn't a crazy Uber ride from the airport. (Enterprise let's you cancel within 24-48 hours and doesn't charge upfront) or shuttle. I'm on the fence right now, but had a ton of flight credit from last year, so my flight has been booked.
IMAGINE THE MONEY YOU’LL SAVE BY JUST DOING BIG EARS WITH ME
Oh yeah. Big Ears and Riot Fest are still very much on the table. I bought my Riot Fest ticket like two fucking years ago, so I almost have to go now on principle regardless of the lineup.
So you are going with the Riot Fest/Chicago crew? thejeremy can easily be talked into Rioting... Just saying. Plus, Chuck asked me to be his buyer, which means I'm officially a baller. So hopefully the lineup lines up.

What's considered a cheap flight from LAX?
Last year I got round trip with American Airlines at just under $200, but that was exceptionally cheap. In 2015 I think I was above or around $400, but I did not plan as well. I would say $350ish RT is a reasonable/normal price, under $300 is good and under $250 is killer. Hopper gives you a good idea of where price range can and should be, so I use that to watch, but I would buy directly from the airline as hopper is somewhat less flexible than buying direct.

Check out Benee. Shes hyper-talented and Im surprised shes not booked higher. She had a tik tok breakout song two years ago but her album she dropped after is actually really good.
