Despite being a very disappointing lineup, for some reason this is the year my group is hyped to return to the farm. So looks like I may be going! I've been diving into a lot of the electronic acts tonight and I'm finding some great tunes. I like a lot of Porter Robinson, Lane 8 and Flume stuff. Also not edm, but Still Woozy has been a fun find.
If you like Lane 8, checkout Nora En Pure. Very similar sound. She's got sets on YouTube.

Hmmmmmm this new Chvrches album is a lot better than their previous effort. I really liked their first two albums a lot but that third one was a stinker. I never gave this one a shot, it’s better than I expected.
Ohhh good to know. Same feelings on their first 3 albums.

Doors for the King Gizz show in Miami on Saturday are at 4pm, oddly enough. I don't think they'll be playing late night on Friday, which imo is awesome because they won't conflict with Disclosure after all

Have we talked much about Stevie being the first female headliner yet or are we afraid of jynxing it after we were so close with Lizzo?
I'm not a Fleetwood Mac superfan but I can do some listening sessions and prepare myself so I know more than Landslide. Will the Chicks come out for that one? Moments I never thought I'd be anticipating in the What field.

Rumours was the breakout album when they became massively popular after having changed directions. They were a hard rock band prior with like 9 or 10 albums and were actually pretty good. But the lineup changes on the preceding album known as self-titled led into Rumours which was their meteoric rise to popularity. I’d probably start there although she was one of 3 vocalists and often does backing for the other singers. Big songs off that were Secondhand News, Dreams, don’t stop, go your own way. The Chain and Songbird.
Her first solo album was Bella Donna. That’s a pretty good place to dig as well. She had the co-hit with Tom Petty on Stop Dragging My Heart Around. I think that’s around the time it was revealed she might have been a white witch. She spent a lot of time here in New Orleans so we assumed if true, this was where her coven was. Idk if that’s true but it sounded right to us as kids.
As others have said, compared to the past two cancelled lineups this is not as good and I am disappointed in it. But I am still planning to go and I'm sure that I'll have a great time. I last went in 2018 and have been so eager to make it back again.

Sweet. This is a great guide. Thank you!
No problem. Katy Mae is probably the foremost Fleetwood expert on the board, but I think she’s a bigger Christine McVie fan. (Thanks in Advance for any insight Katy!)
Having had some time to process the lineup, I'm pretty bummed about it. Being a snarkyboi was fun during scoop season but I really am having a tough time getting excited about this. Saturday is just so...not it for me. Maybe I'll feel different after doing some digging, but I might need some convincing this year.
I can think of at least 100 reasons to be excited for Saturday, but fair warning: most of them are gecs
it's weird that you're only excited about most of the gecs, but not necessarily all of the gecs
*J Cole sucks *Hell yeah Stevie Nicks *1984 is one of the 3 or 4 best years in music, that's gonna be a killer Superjam *Tame Impala's tour dates have a giant gap between June 11 and August 25 and they didn't rebook them?
we had to stand through his miserable set in 2016 while in the pit line for LCD. He’d be a hard pass for me.
oh i remember the inforoo cluster sitting through that dishwater-dull set
