i've never ridden the ferris wheel at bonnaroo, unless i rode it in 2003 or 2004 and forgot. those years i ate mushrooms like they were starburst fruit chews.
I got really high and went on the ferris wheel my first Bonnaroo and it was so terrifying I've never been on a ferris wheel again
i do this with viewing decks in big cities but never learn. i go up them and once i'm up there i remember it's possible this entire building falls down while i'm up here.
I’ve been afraid of Ferris wheels since I was like 8. At Riverside Park (Now Six Flags New England) they had this huge Ferris wheel called the Colossus. We were up there one day and a huge thunderstorm rolled in and we got stuck at the top for what seemed like an eternity (it was actually like 10-15 minutes). The thing we were in almost flipped multiple times. It was traumatizing. I’ve hated heights since then.

I've been afraid of Ferris wheels ever since I got stuck at the top of a giant one and it caught on fire and my massive pet gorilla had to climb up the side of it to save me and then he died.

I rode the High Roller in Vegas, tallest ferris wheel in the world. 550 feet tall. It was pretty terrifying. Takes like 20 minutes to make a full revolution.

Sounds like things will really move into high gear next week, apparently much more of the staff is going to start working exclusively on Bonnaroo full time.
I know comms will start being more than random photos and captions starting next week too, we've been working with them on a PR partnership that I think will start next week or the week after.
