Haven’t been following this too closely but kinda underrated how that Saturday schedule is the worst possible one you can come up with. I’ll be steamed if it’s anywhere close to that.

Danny Elfman is almost 100% certainly going to be at night, right? Hearing Big Mess or even Nightmare before Christmas tunes on the Main Stage in sunlight just doesn't seem like the vibe at all

Some ideas that may or not be new: Caroline Polachek either later in the Gobi or on a different stage Freddie Gibbs closing Gobi Elfman in Mojave Brockhampton not in the Sahara (just seems a weird stage for your last show ever). Maybe put them Outdoor early evening Holly Humberstone not opening the main

EDIT: Oh, I see, the clash finder is radically different than the templates. regardless, I don't think there's a logical way to make Elfman->Megan->Flume->Billie work on the main stage

They back pedaled and revised the article. It used to say, "Harry Styles and Doja Cat are also being considered for taking Ye's spot, though they're already on the bill for the festival." But yeah, basically a know nothing click bait article. They don't know shit.

For what it's worth though, Megan played the 2nd stage at Bottlerock in September last year, so I don't think it's entirely out of the question for her to wind up on the Outdoor.

FWIW, on the set times I'll probably never get done with I've got Megan Thee Stallion in the Sahara. She has somewhat minimal production besides what they just show on a screen so whatever they put up in the Sahara may actually enhance her performance more than just barely having anything on the Main.

Definitely not out of the question, but I think Sahara placement is more likely than outdoor if she’s anywhere else. Fully expect her to be Main Stage. Going to have a top 5 size crowd IMO.

I think both the CP and Freddie Gibbs suggestions make sense, though Danny in the Mojave seems pretty wrong. Wasn't the main reason he was interested in playing Coachella the big Main Stage screens? Wouldn't it then be a bit strange to put him in the Mojave?
I also think, in a vaccum, that Brockhampton makes a lot more sense of out the Sahara. But the issue with moving Brockhampton out of is I have no idea who makes sense to replace them.

Put Anitta in the Sahara

I mean BLACKPINK had a band too. For the record I have Anitta playing the main on mine currently and BROCKHAMPTON in the Sahara similar as you. That said, if you look at her set from Rock in Rio in 2019 it felt way more upbeat with dancers which is what led me to believe she could in fact be Sahara bound.
The one that I actually think will be in the Sahara is Isaiah Rashad. This is a guy that his crowd broke the stage floor at Panorama festival years ago. Here’s another clip from his solo show a few months back.

FYI the Mojave being the same size as the old Sahara is pretty much confirmed now from the latest drone footage. I think it's gonna be hard to predict what they plan on doing with production, scheduling and such.

What about giving BROCKHAMPTON the Girl in Red, set time and then throwing her on earlier on the main? Slide Megan back a few minutes so they don’t overlap. It’s okay if Megan overlaps with Danny for 10 or 15 minutes.
