After that video, I'm much more inclined to think that Isaiah would be in the Sahara vs Anitta. So should we do an outright switch and put BH on the Main? Or do we try and squeeze them on the Outdoor?
What about giving BROCKHAMPTON the Girl in Red, set time and then throwing her on earlier on the main? Slide Megan back a few minutes so they don’t overlap. It’s okay if Megan overlaps with Danny for 10 or 15 minutes.
Yeah, I like this. Though I do think if Danny is on the Outdoor instead of Main (which I do think is likely) they will make sure that the Main Stage is shut down for the beginning, and pretty much the entirety of his set, similar to how they treated Hans Zimmer. I went and moved things around 5 minutes here and there on the Main and Outdoor to make it all work.

I agree that it will be mostly quiet, but wouldn’t fret over 10 minutes of overlap. His set is going to be a lot louder than Hanz based on what I’m seeing in rehearsals.
I've seen the same video as TickleMeElmo and posted this on the 2022 thread
Mojave bigger, taller. Doesn't look identical to old Sahara but definitely has a rounded top, super tall, more or less looks the same size as old Sahara and its way taller than the Gobi.
Sonora, main, Sahara, Gobi the same size and location...same with Heineken House
Outdoor orientation has shifted to be straight forward instead of an angle, just like the main stage - not really sure if this made the viewing area bigger or smaller TBH
Not even fucking sure where the Yuma is or if its been built yet. It either hasn't been built or its moved...and the only tent I see large enough to be the Yuma is in the back of the GA beer gardens where they used to have food trucks. Honestly stumped on this one.
Actually what's more - the person who sent me the video went down a full blown rabbit hole and counted panels, landmarks, etc and sent that to me as well - it all matches old Sahara. pretty convincing. I think he's right - 2022 Mojave is 2017 Sahara. So...
The more I think about it, the more I think Tokimonsta closing the Gobi makes no fucking sense. Who should close it?
Spiritualized because KGATLW isn’t closing the Mojave. They will put a small rock act to appease the olds who have zero interest in SHM. If they want to schedule something and give the outdoor strong fan base then maybe it should go
Phoebe - The Hu - KGATLW - gap for Harry - LTC
Edit: I only suggested Phoebe on earlier because I thought it would be quiet against Daniel Cesar.
How sure are we that the Sonora is coming back this year?
I have watched the grounds video a dozen times. All stages are well under construction. No Yuma. The Sonora is sitting there in exactly the same spot but those two tents have always been fairly similar in size and usage (indoors, air conditioned, etc).
We don't have a Sonora poster, we don't have a single act confirmed for the Sonora - no? We have a confirmed act for every other stage.
If I am missing a confirmation from the fest or an act, then I am happy to be called a dumb dumb. But unless there is some reason why they haven't started building the Yuma yet, I am only counting six stages/tents.

I think we should leave Madeon on the Outdoor. He was confirmed there in 2020, and I don't see them putting Gizzard back on the Outdoor, even if it is a few hours later than last time.
Considering the Mojave is confirmed to be more or less the same size as the old Sahara, I don't think Spiritualized get put in there, and have the tent be 99% empty during their set.

There aren't enough slots to not have the Sonora back...unless we have acts that we have currently listed in the Sonora take opening slots in the Sahara, which is obviously not happening. The stage that is right next to the Gobi in the flyover is 100% the Sonora.

Sorry if I came off unclear, I think Spiritualized in the Gobi. I just don’t think King Gizzard will close the Mojave. I.E. if a rock act doesn’t close the Mojave then you could have a rock act close the Gobi. Wasn’t suggesting Spiritualized be in the Mojave. They are going to have a very dismal crowd no matter where we put them unfortunately.

Ohh gotcha.
If Gizz aren't closing the Mojave, do we think we should just give them 50 mins? I keep thinking they'll get a longer slot, but I can shorten theirs if we don't think that's gonna happen.

There’s a tent tucked away between the merch tent and the main stage beer garden. I think that’s the Yuma.

Whats circled. Its the only thing that seems to be the Yuma. Maybe they wanted to decrease foot traffic around merch and Sahara. There are restrooms right by it and they could have a path that leads you right into it instead of going straight through what is vip/beer garden.
