With BROCKHAMPTON announcing Coachella will be their last shows together.. do you think they'll be inclined to give them a super prime spot? I guess closing the Sahara and essentially being the last acts on for Saturday is pretty prime. But wonder if they'll close the Outdoor instead. I personally wouldn't want them on the main
yeah i’m seeing them over anyone else. even disclosure or flume. the rarity of this being prob their final two shows ever makes them my #1 of the weekend

also i doubt that Floating Points and Koze are both in the Yuma considering they weren't going to be there in 2020
I’d agree with this Mikey. Let’s attempt to put the 2020 artists who were originally confirmed as outside the Yuma to stay outside for the time being. I think that puts DJ Koze, Floating Points, and Black Coffee all elsewhere.
Richie Hawtin isn’t billed as Plastikman and is billed a line lower than he was in 2017, so he’s likely Yuma bound. He’s responsive to IG messages so I’ll see if he can tell us if he’s bringing any sort of visual show.
I’d probably also take Solomun out of the Yuma as well. Not that he couldn’t fit in there, but I think he’s Mojave bound with his billing.

Solomun could still be in so we can play this out. I have a feeling somebody like Duck Sauce is going to be playing at like 5:00 pm. I know they closed the Sahara last time but being demoted another line seems to indicate they won’t be getting any kind of prime placement. I’d switch them and Duke Dumont with Duke bringing his “live” show for Coachella.

Not really.. I think her peak popularity was still 1992 era. She does have a song or two be used a lot on tiktok but outside of that nah. She'll be outside of the Sonora this time, probably late afternoon Gobi or very early day on an outside stage

Yeah I've seen them twice but that's a live show I'm really going to savor if it's really their last one. I don't see them as anything other than a Sahara or Outdoor closer imo. Luckily they're on Saturday, assuming they'll be playing opposite of Billie. Not a conflict for me

Probably won't be the J Balvin Main Stage slot, since they don't have the same mainstream appeal as J. Balvin. But if people think we should move them to a better slot, I don't have too much of a problem with it. I just don't see them getting anything better on the Main than one slot earlier (where we currently have Princess Nokia).

As much as it kills me, there's basically no chance Carly gets a sunset slot on an outside stage. She might get a late tent spot, but is likely gonna be an afternoon main/outdoor set.
I see the issue with bumping up Grupo Firme, but between Princess Nokia and them, it's hard to imagine Grupo doesn't win easily. The fest is clearly increasingly catering to a Latin audience, and even though I didn't know who they were a week ago, Grupo Firme is clearly huge, esp in SoCal. The alternative is bumping them to where Carly is.
I actually think Carly could get their slot, Princess Nokia gets Carly's, and Groupo gets bumped up on Main. Based on what you have now.
Yes - I think *at minimum* Grupo should be where Princess Nokia is. I really don't think Phoebe is headed for mainstage - and if she is on the main, I don't think she'll be that late. More like where Kacey was. Which is I guess where I am also thinking Grupo could be, LOL. But I think she'll be on outdoor as that's where Paul tends to put the really big solo female singers of any genre. She's really billed as the day's #5 when you account for psuedo-headliner SHM.
Carly - also don't think she's on a big stage. I actually could easily see the original idea being giving her a later tent slot against RATM - but now with Harry on the main maybe that idea is less ideal.

Coachella has had some questionable outside stage picks in recent memory. JPEGMAFIA in 2019 on the Outdoor around 4-5 was weird.. super tiny crowd. Don't understand why they did that. I could see him there now since he's much bigger than he was then. But yeah I wouldn't be shocked if they did something similar with Princess Nokia.
Imo I'd put Grupo where you have Still Woozy, sunset into night on the outdoor seems like a great fit. I don't think they'd give them that time slot on the Main. Woozy, Nokia, and The Marias are questionable to be outside (Nokia and Woozy are in too prime of time slots at least).. I think Snoh Aalegra 100% needs to be outside. King Gizz and Big Sean can definitely end up outside.
I "feel" like Lil Baby will close the Outdoor or at least be opposite Harry on the Outdoor
