All they have to say is "These will be Rage's last shows for the foreseeable future" since it'll be after their tour ends, and that should have their interest go back up.
Having Frank locked in (as much as that means) is great, it gives them a lot of leeway with the other bookings. Frank checks so many boxes for one artist.

No because the first half of their tour got pushed to May 2023.

Final date is april 2nd in Detroit. sure doesnt seem like May to me.
But re: RATM & Frank, I am guessing that they are committing to Frank for the rarity factor, and have lost interest in bending over backwards to make RATM work as they will have finished a big tour and played other fests. I don't think Travis is in the cards.
I bet the target is Frank + two new headliners.
I wouldn't call it "bending over backwards" that they didn't want to play without their drummer (broken foot) in the middle of a global pandemic, I imagine there's no bad blood between GV or RATM

Source on the broken foot? Didn't see anything on his social media. Not saying you are lying, just interested.

Travis will have had multiple big shows and festival sets long before the Coachella 2023 poster drops. Unless they already have artists committed to all 3 headlining slots, they can be patient and see how those shows pan out first. Then based on those, decide if Travis is worth bringing back or not. He's still by far the biggest non-repeat rap headliner they can book. I do think they should prioritize trying grabbing someone bigger if they can (Taylor, Adele, etc.) though. But he's good to have on stand-by/back up plan if someone drops out last minute again or they can't get someone better for whatever reason.

Ye headlining is still possible. Tollett said that he is in good terms with him and is being patient. It sounded like Ye can call him up at any time and play Coachella.
Paramore and Olivia Rodrigo back to back would be hilarious since they sued her lol
And Hayley came up on that one with that writing credit.
So Im sure after the Kendrick song drop there will be more lists with his name on it.
Hayley and Josh for sure getting good money off of it lol
I have a hard time seeing Kendrick playing Coachella next year. Obviously I would love it, but since I'd assume he'd have done a good amount of shows before then, the Coachella set wouldn't get the same feel as the 2017 set due to it being an album release set. Can't believe as of now, Rolling Loud is getting the first Kendrick show off of the new album. I would expect him to announce some type of California show before then though.
What I would love to see is Coachella booking Black Hippy as a headliner as a proper send off for Kendrick leaving TDE.
