I can’t believe you guys are trying to kill Hardees in the 3rd round. Frisco Burger is better than any burger at McDonald’s, BK,Sonic, Dairy Queen and better than anything at KK and Starbucks.
im only on it to save cfa. The virtue signalers have thrown everything off
I’m all for saving CFA. But lets get BK or Sonic out of here.
Which is better... Zaxby's vs. Slim Chickens vs. Raising Canes?
Haven't had Slim Chickens, though there's one around here. Prefer Zaxby's to Raising Canes because they have bone-in wings in addition to tenders and they also have more sauces. Their original sauce is similar to Canes' but they also have a spicy version of that which is bomb.

same question. not sure what regional-ish chicken finger chain pablo has in his area. i have a local place i go to but i've also had raising canes and it's always fresh and hot, whereas when i've gotten zaxbys it's never fresh and hot.

I've never had Zaxby's because there isn't one around me but we very recently got Slim Chickens. I do appreciate the variety of menu options and sauces at Slim, but the one thing Canes does, they do really fucking well.

I'm generally supportive of CFA hate, but haven't voted for it yet. Won't get there until we're out of options I wouldn't eat if they were free and delivered to my house, and there's still a good grip of those left. Hardee's is on that list, not at the top, but nothing wrong with it going now.

I’ve only had Zaxby’s twice and I did not enjoy it either time. I’m not sure what it is, but I think they use a spice in their batter/coating that I don’t like. We used to go to Raising Canes a lot when we lived in Las Vegas. It was consistently hot and fresh and I miss it. Never heard of Slim Chickens.

God, I hate the term “virtue signaling” more than almost anything this world has come up with. Do you really think the people who decide not to eat at CFA because they don’t want their money going towards certain causes don’t genuinely believe that it’s wrong for them to eat there? Like, do you think there’s someone out there thinking, “man, I’d really love a spicy chicken sandwich right now, but I need the world to know I’m morally superior”? It’s cheap and lazy bullshit.
I eat CFA so much more than I care to admit, but I respect the decision to not eat it. To act like it’s a total non-issue and that anyone who has decided they want to make sure their money doesn’t go to anti-gay causes is just posturing is ridiculous.

maybe it's cause it's the only one people know about, but it's weird that CFA is the only place here receiving that hate despite multiple companies here having similar political ideologies.

Yeah, I think it’s because it’s been so well documented and publicized that they have a history of donations that people don’t like and that their leadership continues to make such donations. I get that there are a lot of companies where my money goes to places I don’t want it to go, and it’s part of what I use to justify to myself eating at CFA, but it doesn’t seem like many of those places get as much attention in general.
Just ate Panda Express fried rice and Orange chicken in the airport. maybe not the wisest of decisions moments before a cross country flight. But here I am
Look, if it was on the list I would’ve spent the past three days complaining about Jimmy John’s weird libertarian signs in every store.
Ten years ago, they built a Jimmy John’s close to my apartment. One very intoxicated night, I called them to order delivery and they told me they couldn’t deliver to my apartment because my complex was too complicated (there was literally nothing complicated about it). I have not eaten at a Jimmy John’s since. This story has nothing to do with anything other than that you mentioned Jimmy John’s and it’s my first thought when I think of that place. Also, they put too much mayo on their sandwiches.
Whataburger onion rings are good by restaurant standards.
Btw, when should whataburger go out of this thing?
great question. whataburger is always pretty good. better than mcdonalds, arbys, wendys, etc, most of the regular fast food burger joints. it's been a while since i've had it though.
I love Wendy's. I think out of all these choices they are my #1 (popeyes is the obvious #2 for me). We don't have that shake place or whataburger or a bunch of those and the other choices here are pretty crappy. I can get a junior bacon cheeseburger, fries, coke and nuggies for $4.24 and I like their burgers. I also don't eat fast food often so there is that.
