Also LOL @ the OWSLA showcase being at the Underground Stage all day on Sunday. What a waste of that stage for an entire day.
Oh, stop. Up until like a year ago you were Skrillex's biggest superfan. Let them have their fun.
I still sometimes like Skrillex, but most of those OWSLA acts are garbage, and my biggest gripe is the tons of deserving artists who cant play Underground on that day. They need the OWSLA showcase on the RBMA Stage, where most of the shit EDM goes.
I'd say pretty slim. It's a live set correct? Kieran would have to rehearse with them prior.
Also I'm not going to this, but these conflicts are still giving me anxiety. Choosing between Get Real, Richie, Boyz Noize, and Modeselektor live!?
They've done it before (and it looks amazing)
Good god. This is exactly what I'd want for a Four Tet rework of Sun. This is sweet, thanks for showing me that this was a thing, I hope it happens at Movement.

Really have no tough conflicts aside from Bjarki vs. Honey Soundsystem vs. DJ Tennis, but even then I'd likely go with Bjarki since he's difficult to see in the U.S. Saturday: Project 313 > ZIP > Juan Atkins & Moritz von Oswald Present: Borderland, Maceo Plex > Four Tet > Kraftwerk/Caribou Sunday: Bjarki or Honey Soundsystem or DJ Tennis > The Black Madonna > Magda > Ame or Ellen Alien > Tale of Us and maybe some Eddie Fowlkes Monday: Hito > tINI > Digweed or Capriati > Nina Kraviz > Modeselektor

Does anyone know if the venues release schedules for the afterparties? Would be nice to know what I am going to miss/how late I am going to have to stay up.

Also got my wristband which is always exciting.
You'll get a rough schedule, aka the venues times and djs playing, but set times are pretty rare. And expect the parties to go VERY late, like so late you may not leave till lunch the next day (im dead serious).
I went to an after party two years ago to see Thugfucker at TV Lounge and they didn't even go on until 8AM, ended up leaving at 10AM, slept for 4hrs, then back at the fest the next day by 2.
In some cases you're honestly better off leaving the fest at midnight, getting a good 5-6hrs of sleep, then getting up at 5AM before hitting the after parties, then you're good and rested, can grab a good lunch before the fest that day.

Thanks, didn't think that they would. I had heard crazy stories about how late these things run. Pretty sure I am going to the Interface one at The Works and I think its scheduled to 7. So I was thinking about catching a few hours of sleep then going. Good to know that should be alright.

See you at Interface, barring my decision changes after more parties are announced.

Yeah I haven't been able to pull the trigger yet because they are still adding stuff all the time. Have you seen Interface's lineup since they added acts? Liked Kyle Geiger when I was listing to the lineup. Not really familiar with a lot of the others.

I've been traveling for work this weekend and haven't had the chance to check out the additions, but my friend checked out a couple and described them as "face-fucking techno." Sounds like a win to me!
The rave reviews of the Dubfire show from Coachella has swayed me from seeing the entire Tale of Us set now.

I watched the trailer for that set and knew I needed to see it. Haven't watched anything else though. I want it to be a suprise. Really hoping Tales of Us does an afterparty somewhere, they are one of my worst conflicts.
We are so close!!! As far as the after parties go I am think I am going to do Detroit Love - Carl Craig, Dubfire, Seth Troxler, Keith Kemp Interface - Perc, Adam X, Headless Horseman, Cassegrain Movement Closing Party - Tale of Us, Ame, Keith Kemp
Unless anyone sees one I shouldn't miss. Also not sure what time I am getting there on Friday so might do one that day as well. Still hoping Caribou get one as Daphni.

I've got: RA x Spybar BBQ (tentative) Either Detroit Love or Maceo Plex on Saturday Interface Nina Kraviz Trip to Detroit
I'm thinking Caribou will be off to another gig right after Movement unfortunately.
