I'll be splitting my time between Maceo and Brodinski.
That Monday is stacked, I don't envy you. JETS v. Clark, Ben UFO v. Nina Kraviz, Ten Walls v. Joy Orbison v. Lee Foss v. Matador, Maceo Plex v. Brodinski v. Nicole Moudaber, Squarepusher v. Joris Voorn v. Ben Sims. Yikes.
This makes my head hurt. I'm really going to be happy with whatever I see but also regretful on what I miss.

I think I'm going to skip any after parties on Saturday and just hit the casino after the fest since I'll have woken up super early to fly in and I know I'll be exhausted.
Sunday I'm hoping to shoot the BNR 10yr after party. Boys Noize/Skrillex/Danny Brown/Destructo.
Monday is up in the air. Probably end up at the official Movement after party with Richie Hawtin.

Why the fuck wouldn't you go to No Way Back? The Motor City Madness showcases look amazing too, or if you're in the mood for more upbeat/disco Trip The Light Fantastic has Pittsburgh Track Authority and Secrets. Sunday's afterparties are golden.
You're definitely correct, but I have to think about what coverage/photos would get more interest from my followers. And BNR with Danny Brown in his home town followed by Dog Blood is likely going to get pretty crazy. And after typing that previous post I was confirmed for photo for it so now I'm definitely locked in.
Looks like Richie Hawtin isnt allowing photographers so I still need to find somewhere to go Monday night. Maybe Old Miami.

It's OK, Richie Hawtin would've been a drab event anyway.

Need to keep your filthy goblin overlord Alex Young happy, after all. What a fucking wanker that guy is.
Haha. I promise Alex isn't actually that bad. Out of curiosity, why is it that you hate him so much again?
I FUCKING LOVE THIS FESTIVAL. Today was insane!!! EVERYTHING I saw was incredible.
Gabi > Bob Moses > Oliver Dollar > Dubfire > Maya Jane Coles (She killed it) > Hudson Mohawke (Also killed it) > Danny Brown > Marcel Detteman (HOLY SHIT!) > Matthew Dear (!!!) > Dog Blood (Haters be damned, that was the loudest fucking bass I've ever heard in my entire life and the crowd loved it!)
Then straight to the BNR Records 10yr after party where Paxahau hooked it up with all access.
Pilo > Destructo > Danny Brown > Boys Noize > Skrillex
God damnit I'm tired. Shot over 2,000 photos today that I now have to cull through.

What a great weekend! Loved the weather, the crowd, the city, the music, everything! Movement is truly where old ravers go to die (speaking as an old raver myself). It's great partying with so many friendly faces that hate EDM.
Highlights: Paula Temple (saw her twice), Matador, squarepusher, clark, Nicole Moudaber, Rodham B2B Ben Klock until 8am at Interface.

What a great festival! Everything went very smoothly for us. We stayed in the Marriott right beside the fest so getting to and from the venue was no issue. Our wristbands were shipped so we bypassed that long line on Friday. The only issues we had were finding good places to eat and the lack of water stations. Everyone we met was kind, including the security and police.
This festival's music blew my mind. I was able to see so much and the sound was amazing. Highlights were Midland, Kink, CatzN Dogz, Eats Everything, Maya Jane Coles, Hudson Mohawke, Marcel Dettmann, Ben Klock, Dj Godfather, Ben UFO, Kolsch, Tenn Walls, and Brodinski. My favorite set was Claude VonStroke at the Dirty Bird after party. I hope they choose better closers next year. We hopped around to every stage. Saunderson and May were having tech problems, I didn't really get into Voorn, Squarepusher was great but nothing to stay the whole set for. Griz was packed and tours in Knoxville often. Snoop a disaster. I'm not too fond of the mainstage anyway. The sound seems to be the worst of all unless you are near the art sculpture far behind the sound booth.
We just announced Josh Wink here in Knoxville and have a Headroom coming up at the end of June. I'm hoping by next year, hearing techno and house regularly won't require a 9 hour drive. Either way, I plan on attending DEMF next year.

I don't have near a list like that but watching this b2b set with Juilo Bashmore and Shanti Celeste made me think Shanti would be a great addition next year.
