Dr John with The Original Meters and Allen Toussaint performing Desitively Bonnaroo
didn't think about picking this for a while juuuuust in case it counted as a superjam but as stlallison can attest to this day I still play "Desitively Bonnaroo" as the first song on any road trip towards Manchester.

This was basically the show where I “discovered” MMJ. I was just going to Which to see Modest Mouse. MMJ were playing and I think I at least knew who they were but I really didn’t know. They were rocking out and had these giant animal costumes on stage .

Is it eligible? It’s a superjam right?
Dr John did a separate superjam that year with Dan Auerbach so I would assume no.

it's the most underrated MMJ show in Bonnaroo history, IMO. Setlist was immaculate, right in the prime It Still Moves/Z era, and they played flawlessly. It gets lost in the shuffle between the 2004 monsoon set and their first late night show in 2006, but it's so so good.
