Wow that’s a supremely dumb rule and I hate it so much
It's not like it was some arcane footnote. It's the first rule.
Anyways, it's because I didn't want to deal with keeping track with which individual performances (multiple sets, Sonic Stage, Solar Stage, VIP exclusives, etc, etc, etc) had been drafted.

Yeah I mean I get it for like the side performances but it seems silly for bands that play two equally large, completely different shows. Whatever, not a big deal.

I get your point. Sometimes these rules are just for what makes my life easier. For example, that's why I'll only do drafts in groups of ten, twenty or twenty-five. It makes setting up all of the rounds in the OP way easier.
Also, were you at this set? I’ve heard THS hated Bonnaroo and didn’t like playing this show but I’ve never heard if the show itself was actually bad or not.

I was at that set but it left no impression at all. It's possible I didn't stay for the whole thing, though.

I was, and I thought it was great. I saw THS a handful of times in their glory days, and this one was as good as any. Great set for late afternoon beers.

Wasn't actually suggesting we add more rounds, just seems like forty acts and then a bunch of FAs that are all from the same pool is gonna make for a lot of really similar undercards.

Didn’t really think about it but this is true. Would be down for a few more rounds with more than 1 pick each.
