Haha. I only do sometimes when I’m in Florida because there is one a few blocks from my house. I won’t drive 4 miles to Metairie to eat it when I’m in New Orleans because there are at least a dozen better chicken sandwiches I could get if that’s what I wanted to eat. It’s like anything else that’s on the basic side. Doctor it up with almost anything and it can be much better. Here’s a quick list off the top of my head that would make their sandwiches superior.
Better pickles Better buns Popeyes Chicken Breast fil-a Green chilies Tomatoes Lettuce but not dumb American iceberg Real [tm] Spice and more black pepper Better batter Less grease
Not to mention ass, dirty socks, cat, etc.
In less words, Popeye's chicken sandwich is better. I already admitted this. But CFA has them beat in so many other areas.

Yeah it’s sweet heat. Hottie sauce is good too but that’s Thee Stallion’s. They put it on if they get your order right which is questionable. They aren’t as bad as Wendy’s For fucking shit up but they still do.
Man I used to LOVE Popeyes, 3 piece spicy chicken w/ hot sauce, red beans & rice and biscuits with butter and honey… so bomb.
What happened, you go vegetarian or pescatarian? I’ll eat it if someone else goes and gets it. I would give them their due if their tenders were more consistent. When they are good and crunchy and crackly, I like them. Soft, greasy or rubbery and I don’t. For me though, the 3 piece has to be cracker because I prefer breasts and wings.
Also with Chicken Fila in the lead, I’m smelling shenanigans not a deep fryer.

Veggie for the last 14 years. Yea I remember their chicken being crispy and juicy, I’d gets drumsticks and thighs or wings.
I’ve had some decent vegetarian hot chicken sandwiches but that shit ain’t cheap and very few places have it.

It’s likely to be either Cookout or Chik-Fil-A. I don’t know cookout other than what I read on here. Seems like I could find a few things to try there. CFA is a known quantity and hopefully the light will go red on them soon. If they are the next two to go - no guarantee - and because I’ve never been to In-n-Out, out of the rest, Popeyes is real life best remaining for me. There’s nothing else left that I would willingly eat. Wendy’s if any of them could ever get my order right would be okay. But re-circling the drive through too many times soured me on them 10 years ago. Not eating Taco Bell, Mcdonalds or Whattaburger outside of a French fry or something. Those franchises go from giant to behemoth thus proving that much of America likes to eat shit.
