A little late for this, but yes, these companies are all unethical.

don’t think she was that old but yes. They turned into a “Americans are sue happy” story and people still use it as an example today. The media forgot the part where the coffee was insanely hot and the women had burns all over her. Including her labia. Like it fucked her up bad.
They were liable for serving the public a liquid that could literally scald them.
I remember participating in the late 80’s with thousands of people sent boxes of used styrofoam to Mrs. Kroc because they wouldn’t quit using it to package their food. It worked.
