it surprises me how BK is still one of the only fast food places offering a plant based burger. Seems like such an untapped market considering Taco bell is really the only late night option for vegan/vegetarian food
Carls Jr has the Impossible burger Wendy’s had their own veggie patty KFC has their fake chicken nuggets Del Taco has Beyond meat Weinersnitzel (sp?) has veggie dogs Waba Grill (drive through only at some locations) has fake steak In n Out has no meat substitute but the grilled cheese animal style is the best aside from Waba’s fake steak.
only two of those near me are Wendys and KFC and that Kfc beyond chicken is ASS lol
Yea it was not good. Its like they microwaved store bought food and charged more for it. I haven’t had Wendy’s veggie burger but I think I’ll try it today.

In my opinion as a vegetarian the grilled cheese animal style is the best burger-like option in fast food, even over the impossible/beyond burgers available. What sets IN N Out apart aside from not using frozen food, is the various "off menu" options they have from animal style to protein style to 4x4's etc.
I meant a legit vegetarian option not a work around.
I don't think a potato is technically a vegetable, but they have french fries. And Ketchup which President Reagan said was one. You can also get the garden salad. It has chicken, but you have the option not to get chicken, and you cited options. I wouldn't pay as much as they charge if I withheld the chicken, but I don't eat there so I'm not sure if you get a discounted garden salad if your garden doesn't have chickens in it.
What sucks is most places don't change the price when you ask for no meat on things, or worse if you to sub a veggie patty on any other burger they charge extra for it.

I'm just saying that Whataburger and In and Out both have 1 non meat sandwich option and neither is on the menu
what sets Whataburger apart is that you can add more diverse veggies and sauces if you wanted
you could also get a salad, a potato and cheese taquito, there's just simply no world where a vegetarian has more options at In and Out
maybe their grilled cheese is good but they have them at WB

That is bullshit. I always found that infuriating.

I get it, I've also never even seen a Wataburger either so.... potato&cheese taquito sounds interesting tho.

I voted Whataburger. Was not aware it existed prior to this poll. There isn't one within 500 miles of me, so I don't foresee ever eating there. Similar issue for In N Out, although I did eat there once while visiting SF and it was fine. It will be my next vote.
