Ate In N Out again last night on a kids choice. No Regrets.
I was on my layover this morning and instead of my usual layover treat, an Auntie Anne's pretzel, I thought of these threads and got a sausage breakfast wrap from Arby's. It might be my favorite breakfast item I have ever gotten from a fast food (or other quick airport food) type place! Definitely my first breakfast there, but also might have been my first stop there ever. I miiight have gotten french fries there in like middle school.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I was in the car with the kids the other day. Partially inspired by the cookout debate, I thought about doing this again but with only very regional chains. Like a 500 location max or something. I just enjoyed the idea of everyone arguing over shit where most everyone has had like five of the twenty things max.

Wait a second. Milo's has whole fuckin restaurants? I have just had the tea from the grocery store
Milo's is incredible, if you ever end up in the Birmingham area you gotta try it. The signature sauce on the burger is unlike anything at any other fast food place, it's basically okonomiyaki sauce. IIRC the founder was a soldier stationed in Okinawa after WWII. Fries are great too

That sauce sounds really good on a burger
served with pickles and sauteed onions instead of lettuce and tomato, it's great

I forgot Taco Casa on this list, it's at the absolute bottom, under literal starvation
We have a Taco Casa here but it doesn't look like it's apart of the chain, though it looks kinda similar? Speaking about the one here, it's not amazing but I would eat there before I ate at 10~ of the restaurants on this list.

I think this Taco Casa is only in the Tuscaloosa area but they have like 8 goddamn locations for some reason and they all suck

Are Taco Ticos still around? I used to eat Taco Tico like a champ. My dad was the manager for the Manhattan franchise store when I was a little kid. He got fired for having a poster on his office door that said "Do It Better With a Burrito". I'm not even sure where my dad would have found a poster like that in small town KS in the 80s if not from the franchise catalog, but who knows. I'll have to ask him tonight. #tacometoo
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Captain Ds Swensons
One time growing up, my grandmother made us leave a Swenson's bc she wanted food that was more normal if that tells you anything about my upbringing.

There was a Captain D's Billboard in Knoxville for years that just said "Knoxville: Seafood Capital of the World" on a blue background and had the Captains D's logo. most bizarre shit ever.
