When I was drinking a Duff Beer in Moe’s Tavern earlier today it sparked an idea for me… Inforoo has been given a few billion dollars. Let’s create an imaginary HBO Theme Park. Like Universal or Disney but everything is drawn from HBO shows / miniseries / movies. This isn’t necessarily a game. More like a group project.
We need themed areas of the park. Restaurants. Bars. Roller coasters and other rides.
My first thought is that Bada Bing has to be there. You see the vision. Lets build
I think the endgame here is for me to compile all of the ideas and put it into a podcast or a massive OP write up or both.
Here's what we would want if we are to make this as large as Universal Studios + Islands of Adventure
15 Immersive Areas / Worlds. 4-5 of them could be much larger than the others. 45 F&B Vendors 30-40 Rides + Exhibits + shops Some reoccurring shows and parades Themed Takeovers for important dates (Halloween / Xmas / Mardi Gras? What else?)
Could also be many more fine details like street names, facades of buildings, etc
GAME OF THRONES
Game of Thrones will have a major dedicated build out. Primary "worlds" could be Kings Landing and Winterfell. The Wall should be included in some way. Dragon themed rollercoaster.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

The Game of Thrones ride. It starts with some big twists and turns, but the final stretch just goes in a straight line and feels weird and disappointing.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

I think Artie Buccos restaurants and the meat shop would both have to be in the park too. Latte Larry’s coffee shop from curb and potentially the restaurant LD opens in season 3
aesthetically, the pitch is from Kenny Powers, not Danny McBride, so he over sells the idea and in his head it's going to be so polished and flawless "it's gonna blow Space Mountain out of the fucking water hombre", but Stevie is the one who builds it all, so it's very janky and crude "I'm so sorry Kenny but Maria is only so good at carpentry"
the ride cruises through all the spots in the series, the school, Mexico, Myrtle, with cut out cardboard pop ups of all the characters as they fit in the story
Kenny is narrating the whole ride, there are no twists and turns, the thrill is having the privilege to soak in the Powers Saga
riders get off wondering what just happened
when the attendant lets people off the ride they have to say, "thank you for riding La Flama Blanca, you're fucking out"

I’m obviously going to compile all ideas. I think we need around 15 sit down restaurants, a buncha other food stands. Maybe 25 - 30 bars because I assume those will be easy.
Maybe 20 rides and then gotta decide which series are worth like a full section / world of the park.
feel like Westworld needs the Aerosmith type ride that's real sleek and indoors, but I don't care enough about it to do a mini Westworld on the grounds

definitely need the sex boat ride from "It's A Matt, Matt, Matt, Matt World". done in the style of "Sleep No More", a live theater type thing where the audience wears masks and remains silent, and the walk all around the boat and watch what the various actors are doing as the various storylines play out. would be a long ride, at least an hour or two so the audience can really soak it in. at the end the staff begins ushering everyone to the front of the boat for disembarkment, where the final "that's the guy I was telling you about" ending unfolds.
edit: posted spoiler-free for those who haven't seen it yet, and if you haven't what are you doing in your TV life.

they can have those 4d seats w the air compressor and water effects
I want a ride where I can casually drink white wine, smoke a joint, and maybe pretend to solve a crime. Just cruise around the park like the train at Disneyland
