They drafted him in 2021, traded him this year, and he's playing in the Super Bowl. So yeah idk about all that.
Injuries is the official reason anyway. He missed 10 out of 24 games with the Giants which isn't great but not the worst I've seen. They're probably more to it behind the scenes, but I don't know if anyone has talked about it much. I'm not an expert by any means.

It definitely looked like a hold to me - a small hold, but one that impacted the receiver’s ability to run his route, which is really what the rule is supposed to be about. Especially since the throw ended up going in that direction.

Doesnt matter. Even last year the bengals had their chance to drive and the rams made a play on defense. the refs had been letting them play and at that juncture you leave it alone unless the guy literally got mugged.
I hope Sirianni gets a 6 figure fine and blasts the refs. I know Jalen is gonna say its on him for giving the Chiefs the defensive td. I mean whats it gonna be if it was 24-7 at half. Or if Mahomes got nicked in the second half and had to be out for a series.
Anyway, wonder how much bag Hurts gets or does he take the Brady route and they try to stack the team again with taking a smaller contract. Will be interesting to see when Chiefs Eagles is. Sean Payton is going to be seen as the total x factor predictor cause he said a kick return play was gonna happen in the game.
And Hurts played qb which apparently he isnt capable of doing according to some.

It was a correct call and they gave up two walk-in TDs and the longest PR in the history of the Super Bowl leading up to the call. Anyone freaking out about the call deserves whatever mental hell they've built for themselves.

More refs? I thought the production was decent and the hanging stages was cool as well as the choreography. And maybe they changed it this year and I missed it, but I think it’s been close to a decade since anyone actually played at the Super Bowl. If I’m wrong I’m wrong on that.
