I think it’s a fair assumption but we’ve seen mafia do similar things. Threaten to quit. Ask to be voted off. It’s not impossible to imagine setting on a stack to make townies paranoid.
His posts earlier today seemed pretty genuine so I’m not sure what to think. He’s maybe town. Could be all three of us are and mafia is two of Potent, Theo and Teddy.
Been thinking about the bolder part this morning. I think we can all agree it’s almost certain at least one of the two remaining mafia managed to slip out of the runoff. If we look back at some of the movements of these three we might see a pattern that suggest two got out of it.
now this was a response to Rummy and since I don’t find her suspicious I left her out. She’d be the fourth person that escaped the runoff.
I propose that whoever remains in day 4 take a hard look at these names. Almost without a doubt mafia between Teddy, Theo and Potent. Possibly two of them.

Just listened to your podcast so I know you've been playing this game for going on 7 years here. Why would you find it odd that I'd assume we have two mafia left? Isn't that a pretty general assumption on day 3 in a situation like this? I don't feel at all strongly that Cum was mafia. My posts have been pretty clear on that. Maybe she was, sure, but that's not how I've been viewing the game.
Honestly, I find this post incredibly odd. Not that you might disagree with my assessment but that you couldn't get my meaning and felt the need to point this out.... while adding the little stinger that only mafia knows their numbers at this point. Is this your way of trying to sway people my way? lol Like I honestly feel like that might be what this is because I just have a hard timing believing that you couldn't understand exactly what I meant. It is in no way odd for townies to talk this way at this stage of the game. In fact, it's pretty normal for people to say they are looking at things as if two mafia are alive. Which is what I was doing in those posts.. Keep in mind that that was before Tranter was exiled so the odds are a little bit better now but I still view this round as do or die.

You know as well as I do that language and word choice really matter in this game (especially when it's written word like this). It's extremely fair game for me to ask how you know that. Did you make an honest mistake when saying it? Perhaps, but your reaction seems over the top or guilty.
If you're town, you'd be wise to set your sights elsewhere, as I think you'd say to me as well. If it's you and me on D5 with a third, I don't think I could let you go, but I'm undecided how to go today. I feel like Teddy and/or Rooloo should be the play.

Part of the reason I voted for Theo was because of his language at the end of D3, fwiw. Seemed certain he would be alive on D4 and felt like he was trying to set the narrative in advance. Also sus of Teddy but I figured someone else would add him to the runoff

My prediction is something dumb happens like mafia teams up with Rooloo and voted me off then we lose. So don’t expect me to defend myself or bother much with the next round if I’m there. I’ve already explained myself to Rooloo twice and he just keeps saying the same misinformed shit.

if we assume rummy is going to be the whack, you’re just putting yourself into a rough position here if you think every person who is still alive could be mafia. At this point I feel pretty good about you and Potent. If we exile teddy and Rooloo i think we win this, we don’t need to overthink it

Tone what down? What heat? Bully how? I didn't call you names or insult you. It's quite the opposite. I just feel like you've played enough and are a good enough player to understand what I meant. I've also never said you were mafia or even suspicious besides that last post because it legitimately seemed weird to me. But I also don't really find that to be how you'd play it as mafia. It was just paranoia and actually just kinda funny. But sure, I should always use more clairfication.
I'm actually fine with voting Teddy and Rooloo off. That's how I've been voting. Teddy for what I've been saying and Rooloo because I don't really buy his act yesterday. And he would make sense if Cum/tranter was mafia. As I've already said I've just been weary of pushing Teddy because the last time I felt strongly about him he ended up being town.

I'd also add Rooloo's odd arguments for me being suspicious that he could never really back up. He then later accused me of doing what he was doing. Just kinda sus all around behavior.

Makes me consider the possibility that they’re mafia together and they’re reaching out in different directions to try to get just one person to buy it. I was the vote that moved to kill cum. I know I'm town but if you think me and cum is the only possible connection, that shoots down the connection right there.
Cum > Rummy Otter > Cum **Jortles died** Potent > Rummy > Cum
I was going mostly on feels but looking back over this with Rummy confirmed i feel even better saying that Cum looks innocent.
potentpotables. I’m town and if your town that means one of the 3 earlier cum voters is mafia. If Teddy and cum are innocent 2 of them are. An innocent Teddy means they made very little effort to save her. Which seems strange with Otter called out at this point. But I guess they could have just thrown their hands up in the air?
A guilty cum could mean otter, cum, Teddy.
An innocent Teddy/ guilty cum means Theo , Tranter or Rooloo is the third. I’d honestly say Theo seems town. So Tranter or Rooloo.
An innocent Teddy and cum means 2 of Theo, Tranter and Rooloo. So again Tranter and Rooloo.
So I feel we are on the right track even if we might have some spats.
I’d also again bring up that Rooloo brought up the “maybe Jortles was inspector” angle after his whack. Which is considered and mentioned but would’ve go into detail because I I was curious who might bring it up and for what reason.

If potent or theo are mafia it almost has to be with each other and they are just going full chaos mode. But I feel like things would have played out a lot different if that were the case. Probably no Jortles whack for one.
