Overall I feel like them whacking Jortles does legitimize Maddog even more than he already was in my mind, obviously it doesn’t confirm it but I seriously don’t see a reason to doubt it at this point

well I can reread to find a reason to switch but I feel decent where I am just cause of that move to push Maddog to 4
I put a stack on maddog to see if otter would move, said I’d change before 10 but then the reveal came out and that made look bad, sure, but I feel like if you’re actually reading my post you can tell I’m town.
And if maddog HAD guessed one of us we could have a confirmation or a clear here, but he went with Jortles instead. I’ve heard the reasoning behind it and even though I still don’t get it I’ll drop it. But instead it’s all conjecture from here on out as to why one of us “needs to go” — but I know I’m town, and I don’t have a complete read on rummy, but it does seem very strange to me.

This makes me feel pretty certain that both Rummy and Cum can’t be mafia(if either even are). A Mafia gunning to discredit maddawg and keep him alive would need one member still under the radar. So the spotlight on the ladies goes against that plan.

otter is definitely playing the bad flail as mafia, and both of these could be town, but if one is mafia I feel like a distance vote is incredibly dangerous

ehhh. Kinda feel Rummy was pretty natural in her interactions with you. What reason would mafia have to point out all the similarities you have with other times you’ve been inspector? Seems to be doing leg work to help make your case., no. Not necessarily on purpose but doesn’t seem to align with a typical mafia angle given the situation.
idk there's a subtly to it, like if either assumes I'm inspector and is trying to advance me
rummy bumping to 3 is a less note worthy play, and her noting I'm playing similar that quickly could be the result of someone thinking that a while before they posted
this is really splitting hairs, and not a huge red flag for her, but I'm coming back to when I was inspector last game I laid it out that Theo was my guess as a bread crumb, jortles as mafia caught it and then moved
I probably wouldn't be putting this much effort/thought into it if they weren't the only options

the right call. no idea if cum is town or not (sucks if we had 4x town WITH inspo in our runoff, but it really might've been the case), but i am and im ready to try and fuck over mafia henceforth.
