well the Rebs have finally started to show a pulse again as of late with a sweep of Mizzou last weekend and a handily beating of Southern Miss in the midweek
need to win 4 of our last 6 against LSU and A&M to keep postseason hopes alive i think
went down 2-0 against LSU on a Dylan Crews 2 run homer last night in the first, then we rattled off 4 runs in probably the best offensive inning i’ve seen us have in a while. was patient to draw some walks, a few great base running plays, and two, 2 RBI singles basically right back up the middle in deep counts
pitching started to settled in too but unfortunately went into rain delay in B3 and got postponed to starting again this morning with game 2 to follow. starter only threw pitches and has been our #1 guy so i sincerely hope he can throw again this weekend

we actually somehow tightened up our pitching despite the rain lol it was kinda weird how it worked out

yeah he must’ve said some shit to get Peyton and Justin fired up because they’re also extremely level headed. main thing that pissed me off was the 1B coach talking shit to them as well, and i think that’s what got Mike fired up.
we looked good from innings 3-8, and even the 2nd inning wasn’t bad sans walks.
just sucks that Gaddis is now out 4 games.. if we lose first round of SECT, he’ll miss first regional game if we make it:(
