Im not against a runoff. Im just against a runoff here. There is no point hedging a bet. We have a group we are looking at (Silver voters) with only one person left. Let's just eliminate that group. Like that solves so many problems
I've been poring over the voting data and I just have a hard time believing she and Jortles were working together. It's possible, I will revisit on D4 of course, and I don't like the rush to stack on her today. Also, her plea to you read as very plaintive to me.

could we get a tranter/silver/LLL runoff though? does silver really get a pass just because he was in the d1 runoff? he's said some weird stuff IMO

Here's a question - if mafia hasn't used their whack yet, is it because they are expecting to get to D4 with two left, use it then, and come to a draw? If there was only one mafia left, I think they would have used the whack. So, I think this speaks for SFA not being mafia. But would be open to hearing other viewpoints on the use of the midday whack.
They aren't going to whack Rummy right now because she is doing their bidding. Guessing that means MD is off too. They can't whack me because I've become their target. That leaves two of you in that list I made as Mafia, two as wilcard townies. So yes, I think that they are trying to get me voted off, whack Rummy or MD overnight. Then a daytime whack.
All they have to do is get the spotline on a townie and get enough of you to go for it, and they are doing it right now.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

We always do this shit as town. Force a runoff. Say you do get a runoff with me, tranter, and LLL. If there's another day you guys would totally drop whoever wasn't exiled from sus lists and then just go to potent or cum tomorrow. Runoffs solve nothing and don't provide any actual pressure to mafia

i think potent is right (although i also think it is entirely possible he's bringing up this valid vote as a mafioso himself...TBD) that there's likely still two out there given that they're holding on using their mid-day whack rn. even if MD or I are "off," then that would mean other people are too (e.g. others saying LLL needs to go because she's too much of a question mark to proceed), so why keep around known townies if there are others to "do their bidding" just as well?

But we don't and won't ever know SFA's role. However, we can put this scenario to bed if LLL is exiled and we still have a day 4. I just think if we don't exile LLL now, we will just exile LLL day 4. Why not just do it now? Instead of making a runoff to "investigate" two scenarios- why not one runoff to investigate the LLL possibility, and then one runoff to discuss the other possibilities? I feel like Tranter and I operate the same ? so probably pit us together day 4. But pitting both of us against LLL is just bad poll management.

Your passion makes me think you are town, but your ideas make me less sure. I think it would be weird for a mafia to be arguing this so hard, so I guess I think we are townies that just disagree on strategy, which is fine. We're just 2 of 7 voices.

Silver, this is always a fair way to go, but it is the wrong group. And we have to assume there are two left. So that is going to leave two Mafia going in to day four with two whacks. You aren't a cleared player. There is no reason that the group voting for you should be the one's under a microscope just because ONE mafia is there. There is almost always ONE mafia on in any given voting group. We need to be voting for the group that has TWO mafia in it that that is the SFA group. There are four remaining wildcard players in there and we are going in to day 4 next. The runoff can have me in it, but you need to have two of those folks in there too. If for no other reason than to see the voting data down the line when Town needs to try to kill off the actual mafia.
