Potent was my only fucking town read and you all think his death points to me?
Because I don't know that you ARE town getting a "town read". To me Rooloo's whack points to very little. Potent's points to 5 people fairly concretely. The only real overlap that I can see is MD, and that is by direct vote and he is dead. Without at least one name from an Inspector, I am not going to assume any dead players are Mafia right now. Tranter and Silver are both going at it in a way that I can't help but think that at least one is Mafia fucking with the other and trying to spin us all around. They may both be Mafia for all I know, but the things that Potent said and the way he votes points most to live player you right now. I could be wrong, but this is how I am seeing it right now.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

I'll never understand why a vanilla townie would come out the gate day 3 saying they're confirmed and randomly saying someone is mafia. It's just plain stupid and frustrating.

potent's response to this could've been what got him whacked. Could've been pointing to JTR but like LLL said, I don't think a Mafia JTR misses a vote.
Honestly just really stuck trying to figure out who to vote for. I played enee meanie miny moe and landed on Tranter so I guess I'm going with him.
I also found Potent's initial vote to be explained too much. Like bro we don't really care. Its an initial vote.
make what you will of the above Jortles posts. I thought he was inspector with potents name and was just going super hard on him, which makes sense for him. I could see both town Jortles and mafia Jortles doing this.
This is the post that I think got rooloo whacked. Silver does get a bad case of the giggles when he's mafia. He just spent the last two pages doing it too:
Is this because you are making the assumption that Rooloo was whacked because he voted for MD? Seems risky for an Inspector to outright vote for their name in Day 1. He stayed on MD's name the entire time and was the first to vote for him and he was the 5th person to vote out the gate. I suppose you could argue he may have been trying to NOT vote with you, Potent, MD or JTR, however you ended up on MD in the end, and so did Potent. And he didn't move his vote.
I am fine shiting a light on a group of voters, but town fucked up last game by looking at the wrong group. Just want to point that out so that as the game goes on we actually look at voting associations. Last game and this game it was the group of voters I am in and I have been a townie both times. So we have me, Theo, JTR and Silver and Jortles himself. It isn't me. Jortles MAY be mafia again, but I would put him at the bottom of my suspicion list out of these folks, right now. I could be wrong, but I feel most comfortable voting with that group right now after having done a re-read.

strange game so far. I think this game is showing how important an inspector role is. Town seems pretty directionless and disorganized right now. Would hope that if inspector is still alive they have some bangers in their first couple posts / votes. I am getting a little worried that rooloo was inspector tho.
I purposefully worded this strangely because I was trying to bait a whack. I was hoping that mafia would read through my first few posts and see that it pointed to potent and whack me. Was a trap and obviously they didn't fall for it because potent was town.
the day ended here with no runoff. Silver wasn't going to vote for himself and Theo moving to Silver would have just given Silver the revote. I honestly don't know what to make of it.
Jortles hasn't posted since this vote. If you are town, why are you just sitting back on D3 when 3 mafia could still be out there? He's online as I am typing this.

If you are actually town I hope you take a good look at your strategy. There's a reason I always think you're mafia when you're town. But this is just another level. Dude. I quoted it because it shows that if you were mafia that it makes sense that potent had your name. And then it also makes sense that you caught on.
I would like everyone to step back and realize how insane this logic is. Silver wants you to believe that, as mafia, I would catch on to someone being inspector and publicly let him know that I have figured that out. Despite this, I would not whack that night. No no no! Theo defends himself with this weird tidbit? You should always keep your scapegoat alive. It's mafia 101. Create an easy target. If I was mafia, I wouldn't have whacked potent. He was sus to a lot of people and that would have made for an easy runoff contender. He is insisting the opposite for some reason.

These are some of my loose thoughts. I didn't really how absent Jortles had been since the beginning of the day but I am comfortable with Silver going here. I would say my sus list in order is Silver, Theo, Jortles. I hope the game doesn't end here whether or not I am exiled. If I am exiled and it doesn't end, then hell yeah.
Also, before anyone says it, I know I did this the last time I was mafia but I think in a game without inspector, town needs some sort of structure or recap so I am doing my best to fill the void. Town should be working together when inspector doesn't reveal, not takings jokes too literally or disappearing for the entire day.

The Rooloo whack is hardest because he was THE FIRST PERSON to vote for MD. And he stayed there. He voted before anyone even voted for Jortles. So he doesn't appear to have been voting AGAINST anyone. He didn't know who he was voting against when he made that early vote for MD and then he didn't move. That is why the Rooloo whack makes the absolute least sense to me. Timing is everything here, and why I am looking more at the Potent whack.
Now, HERE we have something. Why didn't Theo move off of Dan to start a runoff? That would have been standard practice. This sort of makes it look like Silver and Theo are working together and they are the 2 Mafia paired up, now TWICE. They avoided Silver being tossed in the runoff again by not moving and JTR died right off. No one on JTR could move because we would have a 3/3/3 tie. so either two on silver had to move to Dan, or Theo had to move. Maybe he just didn't catch it in time.

I didn’t bother moving because the last vote was Silver’s, there is nothing to gain from me moving to Silver. Also it leaves options open to create a different runoff
