he's gonna be so good I was thinking of him at 13, but our d is putrid
if we draft him irl though I wouldn't be mad at all
I really think that class of receivers is outstanding. We've had four taken, can't really argue with any of them, except Burks is going to be the best in this class. (I don't really think that, just wanted to post a hot take. He's going to be great though).

Eagles are taking Treylon Burks at 15 - everything I've found thinks they'll take a WR again with one of the two picks. Obviously supЯefan or JustKillingTime can come in and change the pick to someone who hasn't been taken.
We can't believe our good fortune of having Cross fall to us at #16. We'll make a decision in camp whether to play him on the left or switch Ram over there from his current RT position.
Jim Watson is on the clock, and it's a lovely day in Florida.

I almost took Cross at 6, and thought about trading up to get him

Would've loved to take Cross at 17. Hope he falls that far IRL.
I think the Chargers will go speedy WR, OT, or CB at 17. Given the way everything fell I think Penning or a different receiver would be a reach at this point, and Staley loves him some DBs. JC Jackson, Asante Samuel Jr, Derwin James, and McDuffie in the secondary will be absolutely elite and only helped more by the pairing of Bosa and Mack on the DLine. Chargers were top 5 in offense last year and bottom 5 in defense. Not anymore!
Damn you. Well, I guess you saved me from the double homer pick. Rumor is the Steelers would take Pickett if he is there but won't trade up for him. Peter King said this morning he has heard that the Steelers think Pickett will be the best QB in this draft, which is different than everything they've been telegraphing with their Malik Willis interest.
Depending on how the draft falls, I could see the Steelers addressing WR, DB, ILB, or OL. I also remain skeptical they'll take a QB this year. The way our mock has gone, I don't think they reach for the next WR, which is probably Jahan Dotson (who is good, but I think has questionable strength to get off the LOS and will need to get stronger). I was between Dax Hill at S, Nakobe Dean at ILB, or Tyler Linderbaum at C. They invested too much on the OL in free agency to use a first on this position.
Originally I wanted to take Pickett with the Panthers, but trade down to get it. Then I contemplated Cross. But back to the original plan, and got a couple extra picks out of it.
Patriots will take Bernhard Reimann, OT from Central Michigan
just checking in on this, I would be extremely surprised if the Jets go CB at 4 or 10, their beat writers are insistent that they wont
Which beat writers? I just checked The Athletic, and they have 10 guys listed who the Jets would take at 4 and 10. Sauce is there, but is 10th, and the note says Saleh's defenses haven't historically invested a lot in CBs, which buttresses your point. The Athletic makes it seem like whichever OT falls would be their pick at 4, Ekwonu or Neal, and then like they'll take London/Williams/Wilson if they are on the board at 10.

Yeah thats the guy, Connor Hughes. Sauce at 10 is essentially not happening considering who is infront of them
