Drafts aren’t as fun as they used to be but they basically kept the board going through the pandemic. Don’t think a lot of us would have gotten on without them.

Headliner thread. Someone has to say it, time for it to start getting votes. Consequently, when we do "best threads" survivor, the headliner recap thread is a runaway winner there.

The word itself usually makes me think of drool (drooling Homer Simpson), but I do agree it’s also for sports. “cracking out to” or “cracks out to” is from back then too.

Objectively I think Album of the Month is probably the best thread, or one of the best. Yall listen to all that new music, way more than I do, and take the picking of the albums really seriously and your opinions are generally pretty good. So if I ever want to listen to some new shit, that's an easy place to go. Even just being able to keep up with release dates makes it a good resource. Upcoming shows is good in a similar way, but there's more of a structure to AOTM and people have to put in a lot of effort to contribute.
