Went to the grocery and grabbed a few local craft brews. Wish they were milk but I've already had my gallon for the day and hey, these aren't so bad either 😏

Marchand de vin is probably king. But au jus is up there if right. I like mushroom brown gravy but I can cook. Gravy vs Sauce would be in dispute for half the entries. Maybe condiment too?

I didn’t make it up and I’m not Italian. We also didn’t have it on sundays because my mom wasn’t Italian either. But I knew some Cajuns who made daube and they said it was beef cooked in red gravy too. Dumb? Maybe. But I’m not Cajun either. I usually call it red sauce or spaghetti sauce.

Half the Italians in NYC call marinara gravy and the other half call it sauce. I do not call it gravy

Yeah. Same down here. My mom who was not-Cajun French and Croat called it red gravy as well. It doesn’t bother me one way or the other
From the list today, and it was a once in 50-60 day for me since I had no coffee milk for wake-up, I had:
Sparkling Water Gravy Wine Energy Drink (yellow Red Bull)
Beer but it was Harp. I don’t think it fits in any of these categories. It’s not cheap beer or even just cheap and it’s not craft. It’s just OG good beer. So I didn’t want to include that. Maybe I’ll have to do a milk heel turn.
