Whack is clearly pointing to MD or Rooloo. It's hard to even think of something else. Dan voters do need a look, but I don't think Mafia was probably worried about Tranter having one of their names.

I think they were worried about him having Maddog or Rooloo's name, as opposed to someone else on Dan.

Agree that the whack mostly points to MD/Rooloo. Rooloo has a vote already and I'm liking putting other less-examined people in as well. Putting my vote on Cincy mostly to put new faces in, but also for discouraging discussion in D1. A quiet town tends to favor Mafia.

Rummy and Cincy are interesting. Got kind of a weird vibe on Rummy too and Cincy was on Dan end of D1. Rummy also is the one pushing the Rooloo thing the most and might be a good counterbalance to Rooloo in the runoff.
Tranter whack to me mostly points to older players bc he's good as town.
His votes (jaz > rooloo > MD) didn't seem to have deep meaning imo.

his votes very well might point to something. he was also OPENLY adamant (as i was d1) about there being some weirdness afoot, and then some others pushed back on it. but with all this info, you choose to fully not follow the whack at all and just throw a vote on a random vet player?

im def a fan of quicker rounds, as i think a lot of us are, but prob best to give a lil leeway on weekends -- so IMO jaz shouldnt count as a missed vote
well i mean MD literally avoided voting rooloo despite the fact that placing his vote on dan made it so dan would have a revote in the 2-way runoff...against MD. it was just an odd choice overall, to precipitate a situation where one of the final runoff's votes is certainly going against yourself

Maybe. But it feels hunchy from tranter at best. Day 1, no need to implicate like that. Rooloo wasn't in particular danger.
idkkk i just tend to find it quite suspicious when people are blatantly ignoring where a whack leads d2 when that's really most of all we have to work from. i throw out Vibes/Hunches Votes sometimes for sure but more so when either 1) the whack is drawing a blank we so we gotta look elsewhere or 2) it is later in the game, so I've got more data and behavior observations to work from than folks have, say, start of d2 on page 5.

It just doesn't seem too crazy to believe that maf of more experienced players said "Hey if we whack tranter it might look like rooloo and we'll have gotten rid of a good town player"
