At Bonnaroo this year, I had not had coffee for three days and was dragging like a mofo, and out of nowhere, Jaz was all, "Hey, I have some cold brew, let me bless you with it" and it turned my entire festival experience around.
All this to say it is not coffee's time to go, yet.

I made coffee every single morning! You could have had java before it was almost too late for you to go on!

Hahaha my heart sank when I you said how long you had gone without. Not having coffee just one day makes me hate things; I couldn't imagine doing three days at Roo without it.

Yikes! It has been well over a decade since I've gone a day without coffee.

I missed one day awhile back and the headache was so horrific I've never missed a day of coffee since.

When my wife was pregnant with my older daughter (now 11), I had a twitchy eyelid for several days, so I tried cutting out caffeine in an effort to resolve it. I made it 3-4 days and decided I'd rather deal with the twitchy eyelid.
I don't particularly love feeling like my energy levels throughout the day are tied to the bean juice, but goddamn is it reliable. That first sip in the morning is some good, good shit.

No matter how bad the coming day seems, I always think "thank you" to that first sip of coffee.

I had cold brew, too! I came home with a whole half gallon of it since I think only one person took me up on my offer for a glass.

I rarely drink coffee. The caffeine makes me jittery and will also give me anxiety sometimes. It's also one of the few foods/drinks that will fuck up my stomach. I do like how it tastes though and will sometimes drink it.
Sang is right though, coffee people are kinda cult-y. Would like it to go soon.
