Craft beer is a weird category. Like some of it's good, some of it's not. Similar to wine and coffee I guess but I feel like there's much more variation in taste. Like bad coffee and good coffee still taste like coffee but an IPA and a sour are two very different things.

Right. I don't know if there is anyone who likes ALL craft beers. I certainly don't. But the same could certainly said about cocktails.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
There’s annoying people involved with any interest. Who cares
Real wine people, especially sommeliers, are like a thousand times snobbier and more annoying than craft beer people lol
I agree, though at least with sommeliers that's their career and likely a life passion. And they can be crazy accurate; the idea of tasting wine and being able to date it and know what region in France it's from is so mind-boggling to me.

My girl Shay Bay is a sommelier. She is a server and worked at Commanders Palace and other high end restaurants. She's not a snob but she loves her wine AND beers.
okay so honestly I'm shocked craft beer made it to this point just because that term has way too much baggage so I'm not surprised it's on the way out, but there's a part of me that's still surprised how many of you have apparently had an exorbitant amount of awful experiences with beer fans.
