It took me a full round before I noticed reggae and reggaeton were two separate choices. I just thought it was a weird way some people referred to reggae.

in all seriousness, i know a lot of blues riffs sound the same, but that's because a lot of blues fans just love those old riffs. and why try to "fix" something that is working just fine? having said that, there are some modern blues artists trying to push the genre forward, check this out:
