I know it's kind of a goof in Genre Survivor and I'm being hyperbolic, here, but it does kind of depress me how proud people are of hating on classical music, especially when it's obvious they've never actually listened to much of it.

Fun Fact: My favorite 4 days in a year is when I get to go to Tennessee for a festival full of nothing but Classical and Jazz and a buncha weird. All 5k people wear black and has a superiority complex. It’s like a goth convention for boomers.

I'd love if somebody could post like a piece of classical music a week we could listen to together (separately, but together). I'd love to hear people point out what they love about certain pieces of music.

anything with lots of BRASS!! that's why I tend to prefer Russian (and Russian adjacent) .

I know Bernstein was already brought up, but I don't think Candide gets enough credit. the harmony, the counter melodies. just so fun, whimsical, and beautiful.
