Are we certain these are subs? I love The National but they were pretty lowly attended in 2018 and Osh has only gotten further away from indie and rock music. Wouldn't be surprised if they’re green stage closer like Father John Misty was last time he played.
Also maybe I’m ignorant to her popularity but Aya Nakamura does not seem like a sub. Maybe it’s a rare get since she’s not in NA often?
shes huge among French speaking populations it seems. sold out multiple arena dates in France
honestly a bit underwhelmed but Fred again.. and Bicep are awesome gets. considering neither are playing any other north american fests this year as far as i can tell

Bicep are at HARD Summer in La on Aug 6. So planes. Ill assume theyre on friday.
biggest misses are definitely Paramore, Megan, Janelle Monae, and Alvvays. Feel like the former 3 are moreso due to a smaller budget and dwindling value of CAD though

Thinking of caving and buying before prices go up, do we have any reason to confirm that this is real and not an elaborate hoax done by the author of the tweet? I really wanna make sure fred and bicep are gonna be there before buying

it was from an official website so its very much real i’d say. tour dates lineup insanely well for a lot of these acts too. if someone wanted to make a fake leak it would have bigger 2nd liners

I was in for year 2 already just because Rufus and the National were 2 of my 5 buckets left, but man that's deep for our one and only biggish multi-genre Canadian festival of the year! There's so much good electronic on this (as always), BICEP and fred were so damn good last year. Flaming Lips doing Yoshimi in full would be fantastic to see, PUP, Carly, J brekky, FOALS. This is great

its such a good deal, only fee you pay is conversion if your card charges that but usually its a minuscule amount. this thing a steal compared to most US fests
Damn almost all of the artists I was interested in ended up on Friday. I could take Saturday and Sunday mostly in the city, only two artists each those days really interest me (Kendrick, Fred, CRJ, Keem). Friday is gonna be loaded with conflicts

yeah this kinda sucks the way it shakes out. i know they needed to beef up friday with Rufus being a small headliner but sat and sun are ghost towns. all i have sat is keem, national, crj and pup. Kendrick, Fred, Foals and Jbrekkie sunday

I won't be too disappointed if when single day goes on sale it's not that much more for a 3 day at the price I paid than a friday and a sunday single day but yeah. At least I can maybe convince friends who want to go to Montreal but aren't interested in Osheaga/concerts in general to go with me

Highly recommend Cults on Sat and Julia Jacklin on Sunday.
Im still in awe of friday... Rufus, Bicep, Rina, L'imperatrice (was going to see them in switzerland last year but I got covid and couldn't go!), Peggy (Haven't seen him since 2019), poolside, Seinfeld, Mag Bay. Huge day for my tastes
