It's King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard, which knowing Inforoo, is a top 5 genre easily because of that.

hey that first album is definitely psych
I had mentioned them but it seems like their live performances have that edge. I don’t know what genre they are, because it could be different. They sound postrock (when Postjack is in autocorrect) studio but do have dreamy voice harmonizations that some psyche also features. Though OG hardcore scene, maybe turn of the 90’s Sonic Youth would qualify though I know some people call it noise rock. I only saw them in 1991 with Neil Young, but that show was pretty psychedelic to me.
I don’t know if No Pussyfooting is ambient or if it isn’t. Heavenly Music Corporation and Swastika Girls shows up in a Google search as alternative/indie, pop and rock. I don’t see it. Not like I listened to Fripp & Eno every day, but I had the record for an occasional visit to the distance. I’m pretty sure it was many years before Eno released his first Ambient album. Its frippertronics and enocification. And it’s slow. But it saved me a couple times at 3am. I don’t know much more about ambient.
