I obv didn't vote for Talking Heads either but I'm surprised they've got no votes. Seems firmly in the "not happening" category but technically in the realm of possibility like Zeppelin
something tells me theres a lot more animosity between all of them then we know. Given Kevin’s behavior. Still though, prob wouldnt entirely rule it out
Not really on anyone's radar, but my biggest want for a reunion that'll almost never ever happen is Soul Coughing.
I shot an acoustic in-studio performance with Mike Doughty once, and we got to talking about this off the record between takes. He’s pretty against it. He associates his time with those guys very strongly with some of the worst of his struggles with addiction.
Here’s one of the tunes from the performance, preserved for posterity:

Yeah I've read a lot about the feuds between Mike and the rest of the band. Definitely seems like they are beyond repair. So cool you got to meet him though.
another weird one since they have random bursts of activity (the Bjork remixes a few years ago, adding a bunch of B-sides from the first album on Spotify and making a playlist of their favorite deep cuts last year) but also easy to envision them never wanting to do shows again.

Yeah but they're brother and sister and seem to be on good terms so they could do it on a whim pretty much.

pink floyd/led zeppelin - i personally don't really care that much, too many original members are gone.
REM - i'd love to see it happen, really i'd love to hear what a new REM album would sound like in 2023. doesn't feel like it will happen though. i don't think there is any bad blood it just seems like Stipe isn't interested.
White Stripes - i don't think Meg will ever want to perform live again.
Destiny's Child - no reason for Beyonce to do this.
Oasis - will never happen
Talking Heads - will never happen, Byrne doesn't want to and none of the other members like Byrne anyway. I don't think anyone is having a money trouble, Tina/Chris still swimming in that Genius of Love sample money.
Outkast - possible, Andre put on a great show last time but still didn't seem to care for it.
Rush - i'm usually pro-reunions even with new members, but i don't think Rush is Rush without Neil Peart, he was the most important member of the band IMO. i would accept a Rush tour with Danny Carey though.
The Smiths - will never ever ever happen. don't think marr and morrissey will ever get along. having said that i would murder somebody for a ticket to the reunion show.
the rest of the acts I don't know enough to comment on.
and a caveat to all my "will never happen" doubting responses, I also never thought GNR would ever play again. if slash and axel can reconcile then anybody can reconcile.
White Stripes - i don't think Meg will ever want to perform live again.
Yeah, I would absolutely love to see them live again but unless it was just a cover for some issues between them I thought the main reason for splitting was Meg having some anxiety stuff about performing live. Maybe there were some personal issues between them as well but I thought a part of it was her wanting to kind of get out of the limelight a bit.
liam loves trolling the internet (and his brother) with oasis reunion rumors. i doubt it will ever happen.
same with sonic youth. that wasn't just the breakup of a band but kim gordon and thurston moore's 25+year marriage. probably a lot of bad blood still there. at least steve shelley is putting out a bunch of archival stuff from the band.

Also-rans: Justice (Still technically a thing but nothing new since 2016), Radiohead, Better Oblivion Community Center, Dr. Dog, System of a Down, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Blink182 original lineup, Neutral Milk Hotel

This is where I am with it. Neil was the heart and soul of the band. He wrote all the lyrics, so I can't imagine they'd ever make a record without him. A tour...I dunno. From what I understand, Geddy and Alex also didn't love the grind of a full tour, although Neil was the one who really hated it. And while seeing them pop up on the South Park show was fun, seeing a full set with someone else behind the kit...it'd just be so weird, man.
