Going for Search is Over - sleepy time tea compared to the rest

I have a soft spot for this kind of AOR, because it taps into so many things I love about pop music - big, anthemic choruses, copious vocal harmony, cornball lyricism, etc. I don't know. I acknowledge that it's cheesy as hell, but I also unironically love it. For example, spoilers, but I fucking stan "I Can't Hold Back" as one of the great underappreciated songs of the '80s.

If we actually get any sort of participation, here, I'm fairly sure "Eye of the Tiger" will win, for exactly the reason that most people might not even know there are other Survivor songs. But it's not even the best Survivor song from a Rocky movie, IMO.

This is difficult. They are all so bad.

I'll play each and see which one my cat walks out of the room on.

I mean, Survivor really had their thunder stolen on the Karate Kid soundtrack by Joe "Bean" Esposito.

I still sing You're the BEST around at weird occasions that fit the song.

This is a trick, there is no worst survivor song. They're all amazing

I just want to put out there that if any of these rounds end in a tie we will finish before Monday and have to live one or more days without an Inforoo Survivor to give our lives meaning.

Whether that's a motivation for folks to break or create ties, I don't know.

This is so bad I have to participate.

High on You is pretty catchy. That last song is fucking garbage.

I’d say there’s a good chance more than one of you were conceived to the tune of “The Search is Over”. I’m not sure whether that’s a vote in favor or against it, but it’s something to consider.
