If everything was on one weekend then this would be a contender for one of my favourite lineups of the year
Kendrick Foo Fighters Alanis Morrisette The 1975 Yeah Yeah Yeahs Maggie Rogers Mars Volta Death Grips M83 Little Simz Chromeo Tegan and Sara The Breeders The Walkmen Ethel Cain The Walkmen (!!!) Sudan Archives
Smash Mouth would pull a decent size crowd at acl.
For the record, Smashmouth did perform At sxsw (17 or 18) one year at Antone's and maybe filled 3/4. That was definition of a concert if it were a meme.
Random thought: they repeated the poster format & color scheme from last year...might be the first time they've ever done that. In addition to copy/pasting in the headliners from elsewhere, did the graphics person do the same? Lol
I get it's pretty vanilla tbh I think they're nailing the Austin demo pretty well. Much better than the year Willie Nelson billing was flanked by 4 EDM acts.

the 2021 lineup background was just the gradient from the 2019 lineup flipped upside down

solid one, but personally disappointed, after seeing Rosalia, Lana and boygenius on some fakes , leaks - and now none of them on the poster.... can only do W2 since doing PowerTrip the week before, we'll see....
Shania is in San Antonio on Thursday the 12th & Fort Worth on Friday the 13th. Obviously Friday is out and she doesn't play three nights in a row at any time on the tour, so I think that eliminates Saturday. Sunday, in the Kacey spot, feels right. (and conversely, the 1975 would be Sunday W1, unless ACL does some wacky shit and has another HL playing different days each weekend)
I think the biggest takeaway from this year is that radius clauses aren't really much of a thing. That'll make predicating line ups even more of a toss up.
the only headliner that has any sort of conflict is odesza on friday of both weekends. everyone else either isn’t touring, hasn’t announced tour dates yet, or has tour dates that are wide open come october.
also this year seems weird in the way that it’s not obvious which headliner will at won’t clash because just about all of them make sense save for a mumford vs. lumineers night. kendrick vs. the lumineers make the same amount of sense to me as him vs. the 1975/shania and him vs. odesza.
