i think the new dates make her a bit more unlikely but could def see her doing saturday or sunday. i’m not gonna say she’s out until the poster drops without her on it.
They don't announce official after shows till about 2 months before the fest, well after the line up has dropped. Besides the fact that Death Grips do not scream ACL to me, this date takes them out.
postal service/death cab tour has some pretty damning routing. DCFC we know won't play and postal service would have to be a W2 exclusive. in either scenario, i think we missed them
I know they've been inactive for years now but No Doubt would be perfect for what ACL is trying to do...they'd check off so many of C3's boxes.
Honestly just Gwen Stefani is totally an option. It'd be similarish to the PINK booking in that she doesn't play too many shows and feels in line with what they've been doing
I saw her earlier this year and it was a lot of fun honestly, the set was like 75% No Doubt songs
not that a No Doubt reunion is impossible but I doubt they do that just for this fest

Legacy sort of acts (probably only get 1) definitely possible- Pearl Jam, Green Day, Journey, Stevie Nicks, Billy Joel, Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton, Depeche Mode, The Cure longer shot but not out- Dave Grohl project, No Doubt, Phish, Metallica (due to tour dates), Nine Inch Nails
hip-hop headliner (could get 2) most likely- Lizzo (IMO just makes too much sense) definitely possible- Megan thee Stallion, J Cole, Post Malone, Drake, Eminem, Future, Lil Baby longer shot but not out- Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar
radio rock acts that would headline definitely possible- Muse, The Killers, The Lumineers, Imagine Dragons longer shot but not out- The Black Keys, Mumford and Sons
non legacy country act (idk if they'll do this but wouldn't be out of line) possible- Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Zac Brown Band, Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers (idk if tyler headlines though)

childers isn't a headliner here, he'd be a very weak top 6 artist. def a sub or t-mobile/miller lite closer
I know it's mid-sized venues, but resale for his tour are at Bad Bunny/Taylor Swift prices. he very well could be in that 6 spot.
what's this nonsense about Lumineers playing stadiums??
they played coors field and wrigley this year and i’m pretty sure both sold out. very scary to think about but i also feel like they’re a slam dunk booking for this demo
