Yeah I was being a bit facetious about it possibly being a few weeks before we hear something but I also don't think an update is quite as urgent as some people, especially on Reddit, make it out to be. I'd love to get the info today, but if it's not until the week after next, so be it.

I agree...If we cross the 3-month threshold, for something that was advertised as a 3/4 day music festival with camping, but still don't have ANY details or the lineup, then even I would be starting to get in WTF territory.

I don't want to stir the pot or get reposted on reddit, but I will share this little bit of information. It's all he said she said, and nobody has to believe any "sources", but I do know for a fact that the original post about "photographer at Remlinger" was indeed accurate. This was almost two weeks ago at this point, so hopefully Phil and the crew have gotten some traction on saving face and figuring out the best possible situation, but, yes, as of then that was the situation, and for all the people who are so high on copium (mostly just reddit folks anyway), we all just need to be PATIENT while they figure out not just what they are going to announce, but how they are going to announce it. Because obviously, people are PISSED. But I don't think anger is the right response.

And if that's the case, do you think Phil & Co. have any viable backup plans to still pull this off? Or will the whole thing probably be scrubbed?

From what I've heard, Phil's wife's dad is a major financial backer of the festival and he's apparently some super conservative/Republican dude lol. Also, I know Desert Daze and Knitting Factory have been in a huge legal battle against the owners of Pappy & Harriet's. I wonder if that has taken a toll on the bottom line. Who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Which could still point to a single day fest happening cause its saturday. Bands cant just put that sort of thing up without the festival noticing. But seeing how Phil operates he doesnt really care. They had the poster up a few days ago with the date too and nothing came of it.
