The 10/13 BJM show at the Bellwether is DD Presents. I think Phil has to say something before these shows go on sale. Presale holders already missed out on Slowdive (unless he's somehow holding a lot of tickets).
Shit, anyone that didn't get a 4 day levitation pass also missed out.
Not necessarily. I know lots of folks don't buy the 4-day passes because it's near impossible to catch all the shows, and opt to buy several show tix instead.
But yes, I agree that Phil/Daze needs to come out with an update already so us fans can plan accordingly.

The only reddit take I can get behind is the one that talks about how much this is gotta suck for the team to admit their failure, and that's probably why its taking so long. Can't wrap my head around cancelling a festival without a plan to pay people back for their presale purchases.

Could it be possible that the wait on an announcement is due to the need to secure funding in order to refund the presale? Because it’s possible that money has already been spent on deposits and permits.

I dont think anyone is going to give DD money to pay for refunds. What financial backer in their right mind is going to fork over like $100k just cause.
Maybe they are clarifying on how to sort out refunds with their legal team if they don’t have the financial backing. Every announcement could be tricky and used in a court of law. That class action lawsuit doesn’t feel so far fetched now.
God, Mars Volta in Pomona is $86 after fees for the floor and its $30 more for balcony. If theyre asking that much, then Queens was gonna be quite a bit more. The potential of a $500 DD weekend ticket wasnt so far fetched.

The Fox seems like a pretty small venue for TMV, my memory of the place is a bit fuzzy as I only went there a couple times for raves in the late 90s, but I would think TMV would normally play venues 3-4x the size of the Fox. Seems logical to adjust ticket prices for venue capacity.

Its about 1900. Palladium holds 3500 and it was $50ish a ticket before fees last year.
Glanced at the Reddit, the folks there very specifically writing that this is the end of DD "at Lake Perris" is some real cope.
Shut up dweeb, I added that in a comment because yes, that is it for Desert Daze at Lake Perris. So far with Desert Daze Presents and Desert Daze as a record label, it shows Phil isn't done beating this dead horse.
