Heard some interesting rumours and affirmations on what we've been saying from someone who works with the festival.
O Sees very likely Amyl and the Sniffers all but confirmed. Mars Volta was nearly the fill in for Iggy last year but logistics weren't possible. Likely this year. Melody's Echo Chamber very likely. Phil has expressed interest in Queens of the Stone Age and floated the idea but timing wasn't right. Could be this year?
A couple little tidbits to hold us over. Most of it we already know but I love the QOTSA idea.
Side note, somebody in here was talking about Goose. Saw them last night and I gotta say, while I am not one of their "fans", they put on a good show and could fit because they will sell tickets. It's just unfortunate that their fanbase is so... wooky. The problem for me is that they'd likely be a headliner, which would take away from having IMO a better artist headline. So I'm mixed on it.
Goose would not be a headliner IF they played. They'd maybe be 2nd or 3rd line. I don't know if they entirely fit though. Their new album is pretty great though.

They live near the venue in Brooklyn... Years ago I was in S 4th bar and we were playing one of their albums and amedeo pace walks in, and I'm pretty drunk and the bartender is embarrassed because we're playing his music and I'm staring at him not really recognizing him and he sits down at the bar and I'm like, "sorry I thought your were Wayne coyne for a minute" and he goes " I get that a lot" and the bartender turns off the album and we sit there quietly for about 5 minutes.

I’m curious if they dip more into electronic/DJs. Last year a leaked lineup had Jon Hopkins on it, and Elkka ended up cancelling but I’m assuming that was going to be a DJ set. Phil’s band JJUUJJUU made a Spotify playlist with a couple of Daphni songs, which would be sweet. I could see Caribou playing also. Maybe some leftovers form Portola which is a couple of weeks before this year
