If you can't figure that shit out and/or are going to cut corners, get out of the business. Crowd safety should be a top priority, especially after Astroworld.
And I say that having run wild/overcrowded/hot as hell house shows. We took care of people and made sure everyone was okay. Not out of a legal obligation. Out of a moral one.
I think live nation's "line" when it came safety was allowing ins and outs. Although they didnt realize the re entry passes were getting sold for $100 a pop and it was getting even more crowded than the oversell they had already done.
Transnational corporation. Bottom line is all they care about.

When you're cramming 60+ bands into one day, there really isn't any room for error. Hope they get their shit dialed in this year for the sake of the fans.

Great lineup, think its time to drop the nu metal festival label. Theres some nu metal on the bill but vast majority of bands have nothing to do with that era.
When you're cramming 60+ bands into one day, there really isn't any room for error. Hope they get their shit dialed in this year for the sake of the fans.
And so far only When We Were Young has gotten it right. Other than the wind cancelled day the rest went off without a hitch.

Did anyone do vip for this to be any better? I hate to do a one day fest but me and my best friend are long time SOAD fans and they never play around here so we’re thinking of going any other band we like on here is just a bonus seeing depending on those schedules.
Musically speaking, I didnt think Andy Gill could be replaced on guitar in Gang of Four but the SLint guy did much better than I expected at Cruel World.
