I spend way too much time on mocks, but I love doing them for some reason. Decided to start one last night around midnight against my better judgment and ended up staying up til 4am working on it and now I’m tired as hell. And I’m only like 25% done lol. Will have it up this weekend though.

Sunday is BRUTAL with some of the conflicts. Franz/Girl in Red/Peach pit is really tough, and Mumford/Pixies/Umphries is even tougher. Other than that, MMJ vs Korn, Superjam vs Sofi Tukker, Knocked loose vs MUNA, and Vulf vs three six are my worst conflicts, but i also lean a definitive way for all them, so not terrible!

Working on mine and I can't figure out Thursday Other! There are only 5 electronic acts, but with those 5 on Other and 7 acts in each of This/That there is still an act leftover. The only additional acts I could imagine on Other would probably be Big Freedia and 070 Shake? Or perhaps an extra act in one of the tents with Other acts being longer and/or starting later?

I agree, I am sort of leaning towards setting mine up with the longer sets and just keeping it to 5 acts on The Other for now... it's just unusual for the schedule to be that way!

Yeah the last band that played on The Other was Justin Jays Fantastic Voyage in 2018. So I agree, longer sets or we are going to get an addition or two

big big fan of STS9 during odesza, which frees up the potential korn/sts9 conflict and gives me something to do during odesza. korn/mmj is unavoidable but with mmj's long set i could catch the end of mmj to hear OBH/OTR or whatever. the hits you know. i'm just discovering sofi tukker and would like to see them so the conflict with both korn/mmj is a bummer.
sunday having the pixies open for the revivalists feels weird but i guess they are billed lower. and it'd be cool to see both the pixies and umphreys, other mocks have them conflicting.
Thursday: Suki -> JP Save -> DEHD -> Ezra -> maybe some of Elephant Heart or Daily Bread -> Diarrhea Planet -> a wee bit of Mersiv -> 070 Shake -> end of Liquid Stranger. This would be a gloriously satisfying Roo Thursday.
Friday: Jupiter & Okwess if i made it in for that -> Sampa -> Matt Maeson -> lil bit of Charley Crockett -> Knocked Loose -> end of Rina -> be sad about missing Alex G but make it in time for all of Fleet Foxes -> Sylvan Esso -> Kendrick -> Black Midi -> Three 6 -> Subtronics. Fucking busy day but would be great!
Saturday: The Beths -> Gioli & Assia or Jenny -> Andrew McMahon -> Remi Wolf -> Bob Moses (really hope they're LN instead though) or Lil Nas-> Childers -> ODESZA -> KORN (rip missing sofi tho) -> end of MMJ -> hoping that WITW has something better than Louis the Child. Conflicts are pretty rough on this day and then that Saturday LN post-MMJ would be a bummer.
Sunday: Amber Mark -> Wax Motif and/or Peach Pit -> Pixies -> Paramore -> Foos. Light as expected given this Sunday's lineup but would really enjoy Pixies to Paramore & Amber earlier in the day.

We have similar taste. That was my idea on Thursday - bunching neighbor > diarrhea > big freedia. I am interested to see how they schedule GRIZ on Friday - especially since it was leaked Vulfpeck is going to be LN Which. Do they have GRIZ conflict with Kendrick at Other Tent like they did Disclosure/J Cole last year? Do they have GRIZ lead into Kendrick at Which? Could they do a double LN Which schedule of Vulfpeck -> GRIZ. Will have a snowball effect on the rest of the night on how they go about that.

I laid out Sunday for personal reasons. Will be my wife's first Roo, and both Marcus Mumford and Paramore is in her top 5 to see. I have seen Umphrey's 10+ times - it would feel wrong to miss them considering the first time I saw UM was at Roo 2012. Fingers crossed it sets up like that.

I actually have STS9 on The Other on the one I’m working on as well, as of now. I know that would be an outlier, but they’ve had a band setup on there before, and there seems to be less EDM this year. I could see it happening, as long as they have time to set up.
I don’t know what exactly the website said last time, but it says “dance sets” till sunrise. STS9 can be pretty electronic and dancy.
Notes on mock. Tried to put artists on during headliners since they scheduled that way last year. Also tried to switch up some artists on different stages. I’ll be curious if STS9 ends up being late night or a tent closer.
