he doesn't like a ton on Twitter and does seem to be doing it himself, rather than liking every tweet where he's mentioned. I think this should make us default to Outdoor until we hear otherwise
As someone who has never seen HOLO and knows very little about how it's actually set up, I have no personal issue with putting him back on the Outdoor where we had him before. That being said, I've heard a bunch of point about how he needs to be indoors/have a roof in order for it to work. Are there any examples of him playing HOLO outdoors? If so, that would put that argument to rest and I would have even less problems moving him back to the Outdoor.
Is there a strong reason why she shouldn't be in the Sonora? / Who should be in her slot instead?

I think Prydz on the outdoor could be solved also based on where we put Calvin.
I am not sure Calvin needs to close the main, especially since if this was being held as "Rihanna Day", the other big slots were almost definitely organized around a headliner closing the main.
Why couldn't it go Rosalia main --> Calvin main --> Prydz starts the outdoor the second Calvin ends and runs up against half of BP --> BLACKPINK closes the main with the second half of their set against an empty outdoor? This would be way shittier for me personally LOL but I could definitely see it.

But OK, to further muddy this a bit, if you were unfamiliar with Coachella and only played it once and that was ten years ago, you see the word "outdoor", do you automatically know it is the Outdoor Theater and not just "outside"? It could even hint at main, although even without Calvin playing the main stage I'd say outdoor was more likely than main. Just that it is kind of vague.
If it's outdoor then that pretty much guarantees at least heavy overlap between BLACKPINK and Prydz which is like my worst possible fear, but completely reasonable to expect.
Prydz is the opposite of unfamiliar with Coachella though. also, the tweet references Sahara. would be extremely weird to know what that is and not know what the outdoor is.

maybe so, but being billed the same as Aphex it just seems obvious to me that it's gonna be Underworld -> Prydz just like Four Tet -> Aphex, and to a lesser extent 2manydjs -> underworld. I guess we'll find out eventually.
we will find out, that's for sure! just think we need to be honest about what our priors are, and what we would do with that tweet if we didn't have those priors.

That said, we either have to completely discount the tweet, which seems unlikely given that he runs his own socials and hasn't been liking a ton of stuff with respect to Coachella or whatever, or take a pretty strained interpretation to avoid the straightforward logic of the tweet.

is TESTPILOT enough of a "name" to put in sahara vs the yuma with people thinking "oh it's deadmau5 i wanna see that" that could potentially draw more people. idk work is boring today just throwing that out there. i get he's not mau5 and it's totally different music
if Cirez D was in the Yuma, Testpilot almost certainly will be. Testpilot is an order of magnitude less popular than Cirez D, and in a very similar lane

My assumption was that Calvin wasn't booked until Rihanna dropped out, and they had to bump up Blackpink from where Calvin is on the poster now to headliner.

Also, 100% willing to bet that Kid Laroi, the 3rd highest streamed act on Saturday (only behind Calvin and Rosalia) doesn't play the Sahara.

I don't think Prydz was actually confirming a stage by liking that tweet, but it doesn't really matter -- he WAS confirming he can do it outside (which has been a debate, and we can scratch that) and that he doesn't want to do it in the Sahara.

I would find it weird for him to like a tweet suggesting "Outdoor?" if he didn't think he could do it outdoors, personally, but the definition of a "confirmation" is fluid.

I'm pretty sure he's never brought HOLO to an open stage like outdoor but I guess there's a first time for everything. Prydz in Mojave seemed like the easiest set to figure out to me based on needs and set up time and billing but I guess that's not the case for everyone.
