I swear to fucking God if/when they put this against BLACKPINK I am going to murder somebody.
Don't you DARE put that energy into the universe
Feeling pretty positive that Prydz won’t directly conflict with BlackPink but would put money on at least some overlap, i still strongly believe Prydz ends up on the Mojave

Considering it sounds like Calvin will be closing the Main, and that people (including myself) think the Prydz and Calvin won't conflict, I'd say there's a pretty decent chance Prydz and BP conflict.

I think if Prydz ends up in a tent then the best way to deal with overcrowding is having Calvin playing at the same time.
I think he’s playing outdoor though. I don’t think his show requires anything to hang from the ceiling. His show at Creamfields was in the massive tent they have there and it’s pretty clear his stage setup is built up from the stage not the ceiling.

Hate Friday/Sunday but my least favorite day Saturday turned out perfect. Wouldn’t have to get there til 430 then have someone to see the rest of the night with no breaks lol
Friday would be a way different vibe than I predicted if it ended up like this. * is my wife's top choice.
I can easily see us going Idris* (partial) --> Gorillaz (my wife would want Kaytra though) --> Chem Bros --> Whyte Fang* --> OVERMONO with no Bad Bunny...wild. I want to see Blondie but given that day's trajectory I can easily see us leaning into this being the rave day and going for Vintage Culture.
While we just shuffle acts around and wait for real confirmations, what do you guys think the most iconic set time thread moments are?
Some of my favorites...
- The infamous Kaytranada billboard 2017
- When Zella Day said "4:15 on the outdoor" like the day of the lineup release and we didn't treat it as a confirmation because how the fuck would she know, and then that's exactly where she ended up
- When we had total group cohesion and consensus about Saturday of 2015, Mikey "locked" the prediction in, and then immediately after that we got news from Annie Mac that Axwell ^ Ingrosso were closing the outdoor (big DJs hadn't played that stage really before then so nobody predicted it) and then like a millisecond later we heard that The Weeknd was closing and not Jack White, and the thread was in shambles

That Friday is basically perfect for me, no notes, no obvious problems I see on a quick glance.
Saturday is pretty damn good, too; Dinner Party during Rosalia/Charli and Snail Mail during Prydz both hurt but there's no reason those won't happen.
Sunday is a mess for me around 7pm with Noname, 2ManyDJs, and Boris, but again, no reason those won't happen. Though I do still think we need to take Boris out of the Yuma and stick him in the Sahara.

Is Two Friends really that big? I admit that I don't really track that corner of EDM like the others, but I've barely heard of them and their Spotify numbers are pretty poor (which isn't a great metric for EDM but I don't know how that act is usually prioritized). Midnight Sahara isn't exactly a peak spot, but it's better than mid-afternoon, and it would surprise me if someone like Nora (who was 11pm in the Sahara 2019) would be playing with the sun up in favor of some D-tier cheese with 1,000,000 few monthly spotify listeners and no where close to the long-standing reputation she has. And "sunset Sahara" isn't an ideal spot either, but that's where we have Vintage Culture who is maybe the biggest non-hip hop related act we have on there for that day. And maybe I'm just out of the loop, but I feel like even Dombresky is a bigger performing name than Two Friends.
Lost Kings seems like the closest comparison to them, and they had a pre-3PM set time last year. Which feels much closer to where Two Friends will end up. I'd even be in favor of just bumping them to the bottom and doing a full shift upwards. And if you don't think Metro Boomin or whoever would be put on that late, maybe just move Malaa into the closing slot and everyone before Malaa up a slot.

Last year Slander played against Harry Styles (it threw me off to see Slander was Sunday on the poster); he was billed a bit higher than Two Friends but not way higher, and I get a sense that Two Friends is growing quickly (I base this entirely on anecdotal evidence of a friend who is very into Sahara-type cheesy EDM being really into them right now). On top of that the higher-billed options to close the Sahara Friday are iffy -- Chems most likely won't, Kaytranada probably won't (he's already played against a headliner twice...though maybe that just suggests he's fine with it), Metro Boomin vs Bunny doesn't seem sensible, SG Lewis is more of a Mojave act, and we've got Maceo Plex and TESTPILOT in the Yuma. I think Two Friends there makes sense given all that.

Random: but I remember when yung lean dropped and liked some songs but stopped listening for years. Got a Spotify playlist ripped from a recent live show and all the best songs are in the second half of the set so that makes 1 conflict easier if need be lol

When I opened for Two Friends at the Fox in Oakland (sold out show), I had the first set, and that venue was basically full within the first 15-20 minutes. Their fan base is absolutely RAVENOUS, and I'm sure they'll pull (while maybe not a MASSIVE crowd) at least a decently sized one pretty much no matter when they play at Coachella.
Just realized these still have Prydz in the Sahara, which I do think needs to change. Random maybe hot take ideas for making that happen:
Snail Mail to the Sonora Charli to the Sahara Yaeji to the Gobi Labrinth to the Mojave
And then there's room on the Outdoor for Prydz.
I feel like due to the overwhelming majority on the reddit poll, that at least for this week we had to put Prydz in the Sahara. I still definitely agree it's less likely than Outdoor or Mojave, and we can move him around for next weeks mock.
Not sure I super agree with your suggestions though. Labrinth is honestly going to pull one of the biggest crowds for the weekend. Was just talking to my sister yesterday (she's 26, and is definitely in Coachella's target audience) and she was saying the one act that is making her more than likely buy her ticket is literally just Labrinth. Obviously that's extremely anecdotal, but he is massive right now and I would be just about anything he wont end up in a tent. Also Charli in the Sahara feels wrong. I don't think it's impossible, but I sort of doubt she winds up there. If I'm alone on that one though, we can move things around.
