I'm not as familiar with the show but I've seen multiple people say this. question is how much rigging overhead -- could imagine a world where Outdoor gives you enough with some modifications, but I'm really not sure.
the one thing I feel safe saying right now is that H0L0's set time will determine a lot of other placements, because the assumption at a multi-genre fest has always been "the setup doesn't work, takes too long/is too complicated" (I think Prydz even said this publicly awhile back). so they clearly worked something out to make it feasible.
How much set up time do we need to make sure he has?
Nobody ever needs as much setup time as we think lol. 30 mins, 45 MAX should be fine. It looks like there was no break between him and Joris Voorn at Tomorrowland, but that might've just been a dude DJ'ing while they set everything up behind him. I just suspect that if there's crazy setup to be done they'll do it ahead of time behind everything else playing.
2manydjs are playing their new Under the Covers live show. They won’t be in the Yuma.
I don’t think they book The Chemical Brothers after all these years and have them conflict with the most popular act on the lineup. Pretty sure they are getting the royal treatment and are going to have a time slot with minimal big name conflicts. I also think their live show would be in serious jeopardy if it’s windy. A tent seems likely.

2manydjs 100% not in the Yuma, especially when Despacio is also at Coachella lol.
I also don't think Chem Bros will conflict with Bad Bunny but there's not reason they can't play outside. They've been playing shows outside for like 30 years.

Thanks Mikey! Friday notes:
* Can't have Chems and Bunny conflicting. Maybe like 20 mins, but I don't think so. * I think Kaytranada's gotta be Sahara as the biggest EDM act aside from Chems on this day. That lets you slide up Metro Boomin and move the Chems there. * Pusha strikes me as a weird Sahara act, personally. There are a lot of places he could go, but that one just seems...off.

Not huge notes on the other days on first glance except that Sofi Tukker just played the Mojave at 8pm in 2019, and we have them at 7:30. I'd bump 'em to outdoor or main, they're a line higher now. Before Rosalia makes sense to me personally.
What if by some batshit miracle the chems are after BB? I would love the extra dancing room
I feel like after the 2011 disaster with KOL's fireworks they're going to play it safe with whoever's before the Chems. Also they're not going to have someone after the biggest act of the weekend.
We'll see what we have when the times come out but the slots I feel most confident about:
Friday - Burna > Gorillaz > Bunny on the main, Blondie at sunset on the outdoor (think David Byrne), Chemical Bros closing the outdoor.
The Fisher + Chris Lake Outdoor scoop makes sense especially with the tweets Lake posted about what they're planning together.
Can't wait to argue for a few months and be wrong about everything!
We were totally on the same page with all of this. Though now I tend to agree with people that Bad Bunny vs Chem Bros feels sort of bad.....ideas how we could, or if we should fix that?

Seeing 4 rappers in the Sahara Sunday night and the 2 biggest DJs on the big stages makes me feel like Frank might get a silent Sahara. With a rapper ending like 5-10 mins into his set

SHM x the Weeknd had a silent sahara last year so that makes sense for frank since he is much quieter. Denzel ended at 10:25 and SHM was hitting the stage right when he walked off.

If we believe that Alex G is still in Franks band, I imagine he’ll get more than 2 hours of rest between sets. I’d put him early outdoor and have Momma in the Sonora
