I don't see Chem Bros conflicting with Bad Bunny. I know there isn't likely much overlap in their fans, but I doubt Coachella would pit them against the biggest artist in the world and leave them with a tiny crowd.
I think I agree, the question is how do we make this happen exactly? Seems like with their production, The Chems are pretty much locked in to close whichever stage they play, right?
I guess we could have them close the Mojave, and have the Mojave be shut down for the final hour.....I can try and work that out later today.

I feel like there’s been artists who have gotten this wrong before iirc
But she also can’t close the outdoor if Chris Lake and Fisher are there
The wording is weird but assuming that's the order, they are in fact "closing out the main" in order. Not something worth overthinking, I believe most days the mainstage has the top three artists of that day.

I'm actually kind of feeling Kaytranada on the main. It's the only real chance at a sunset-type EDM mainstage show we've got this year given the biggest EDM names (Prydz/Chems) are not going to be there.

Then Becky G could be a little earlier on the main, and Angele could be a late night mojave act. We should definitely have the Gobi and Mojave going later than we've got 'em.
I think Pusha T is Mojave bound. His 2019 Main Stage crowd could have fit into the Mojave
I would definitely keep Metro outside. He's essentially the only big mainstream hiphop act and it's almost guaranteed he'll have guests like Drake, Future, 21, Kodak popping up, possibly Weeknd. Feel like his set will be flooded because he'll be everyone's only mainstream hiphop fix for the whole weekend.

Oh just to be clear, I don't actually think Gorillaz is getting over an hour and it's much easier if they don't, it just seemed like other people think they will (same with Chems). I'm totally happy with both of those sets being an hour lol.
Bunny's set at 1:30 seemed reasonably sensible to me, though I guess he prob needs 1:35 or 1:40 to be safe. The full set I checked on youtube before doing that was 1:37, but there was some filler on the front end.
Didn't think about the Burna/Metro conflict at all, but that's still only a half conflict...and to some degree that's going to be hard to avoid.

I don’t think it’s hard to avoid when metro can go anywhere from outdoor day to main day to outdoor night to Sahara night.
Only way I see Chems or Gorillaz getting over an hour is if they get the Mojave.
Bad Bunny’s set at Made in America was 90 mins who I think would be a little more pressed for time. but his stadium shows are over 2 hours some even 3. His shows have been 90 when he’s come on late (Boston)
I think Chems would just start later. King Gizz started at midnight after Harry already started. Chems can def close the Outdoor playing from midnight till 1am. Bad Bunny would be about half an hour into his set already. That allows the Outdoor acts to be pushed back later too. Can definitely see Metro starting during Gorillaz and ending before Bunny or main before Burna Boy around 7ish. Gorillaz might get an hour (Doja Cat got an hour), but Bunny probably gets 1:45-2

I agree with this, it's vague enough to be a messed up game of telephone IMO. fine with keeping it for now because it's more than justifiable on its own, I just wouldn't set a ton of store in this one

I think Gorillaz and chems both got 60 (unless chems get Mojave) but I’m interested to see if the bolding of the subs is just agent food or if a dual headliner thing is coming. Gorillaz and Bjork can both make cases for longer sets. Not so much Rosalia (but it wouldn’t be her if you consider Calvin the sub or 2nd headliner) but I’m interested to see if it’s a change in direction.

Porter absolutely has a shot at sunset mainstage EDM, and he's on Sunday which is the traditional day for that slot anyway. would require the Kali confirmation to be wrong probably, but it's very possible. Kaytra could play main too though, that could be really fun. I could see him almost anywhere.

Yeah, I counted Porter out because of that Kali confirmation, and I do ultimately think the main is going to go Kali -> Bjork -> Frank anyway. Porter would make total sense otherwise, and I wouldn't be shocked if Kali is outdoor instead, but I think it makes sense to assume she is.
