Fkj last time in Mojave was a shitshow so not being in the tent would be good
It was that crowded? It's a really busy day I would love to see him but the mocks have him at the same time as Blondie which would suck. His music would be ideal outside around sunset but as I said it is a crowded day.

Yeah, it mightve been worse than Lizzo. I mean Mojave is larger now but it would seem better fit on the outdoor and people can hang out in the back listening and not being scrunched up with all the bros.
Just seems like a complete fan overlap. Obviously we’ve seen head shaking conflicts before, but this is one I just don’t see happening. I like Chris as counter programming against Fisher/Lake and something to see for that crowd if they don’t want to camp for Frank.
Friend of mine who [REDACTED] hit me with a list of names, all of which we already had confirmed for the Outdoor (like Prydz, Sofi Tukker, Chem Bros etc.)...but regarding unconfirmed names, the list also included:
No clue who we should move into the Sahara in place of Rae Sremmurd.....the only option that really makes sense would be Porter, but idk, that seems wrong too...
nah but in seriousness I could see 2manydjs filling Rae Sremmurds spot in the Sahara. They played Sahara last time and feel like a similar comp to Duck Sauce last year in terms of vibe and crowd they will pull

Was thinking this, or putting DPR Live in MK's slot and bump everyone else up...I know people didn't like when I had 2manydjs in the Sahara, so not sure that's the most acceptable option.

Do DPR, Epik High played the Sahara early one year and Rich Brian was in there last year. Or if we want to throw a wildcard act in there… what about an early Romy set?

DPR would make sense, Romy would absolutely flounder in there and the Nora En Pure precedent makes me think they wouldn't try it, but could just be the last piece in the shuffle and get pushed there. But I'd imagine Gobi/earlyish Mojave for Romy.
Charli xcx, sofi tukker, dinner party, and mura masa all at about the exact same time is brutal. All among the acts I was most looking forward to the day. 🥲
Mojave is a better stage than Sahara and I think their crowd size will be more appropriate in the Mojave.
i actually like the sahara as a stage quite a bit, but mojave makes way more sense - when Underworld played Sahara in 2016, they didn't exactly pack it. Whatever crowd they draw in the new Sahara would be relatively tiny to the size of the stage, and I really doubt Coachella would use a big, prime-time Sahara slot on an act that won't fill more than 1/2 of it.
Interpol & The Walkmen 11.23 I Am Morbid/Suffocation 11.26 King Diamond 11.29 Sadistic Intent/Massacre 11.30 70K Tons Of Metal 2025 Hell's Heroes 2025 Sick New World 2025 Maryland Deathfest 2025

They're also lower billed than they were in 2016 (they were 6th on their day then, 9th on their day now). Mojave makes sense to me.
This saturday is really nice to me right now. Only major issues are the Diljit Dosanjh/Snail Mail conflict and the ~25 mins of boygenius/Rosalia overlap.

for what it's worth i also don't think Underworld closes against Calvin Harris - Coachella/GV have a pretty good and longstanding relationship with Underworld, I'd be surprised if they thinned their crowd even more by pitting them against the biggest EDM act of the weekend
