Yeah I’m trying not to worry about it but it feels pretty unique for this year, I don’t really get it. The camping passes on StubHub are the same price as the festival tickets.

For whatever reason this happened in 2019 also. Camping sold out way early for W2 even though the tickets didn't do as well, but W1 had more ticket demand but I don't think camping even sold out. Between the influencer/"see and be seen" W1 attendees, but more importantly the flood of music industry types who view W1 as a networking convention, I think there is just more demand for luxury housing W1 vs W2, where the average attendee may be more open to camping.
I've never tent camped, but it's pretty far from the venue. Usually it's out beyond lot 4 I think? The trade-off with being further from the venue is that you don't have to haul your stuff as far though. Find someone with a wagon and give them a few beers so you can borrow it to take your stuff to camp.
